Hello! I want to ask some questions about dermalogica.
Hi,
I have some acne and pimples on my chin. People tells me that Dermalogica is a good skincare brand and I believe it is.
My beautician told me that I should use Specific Skin Complex. I wonder if I should use the cleanser (special cleansing gel) and the toner with that. I think daily microexfoliant is great. Should I include it in my daily skin cleaning rountine?
Any girls have this problem? Please give me some suggestions.
Do u think Dermalogica is suitable for people who have acne
Hello! I want to ask some questions about dermalogica.
Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel is a good choice for your type of skin. Daily Microfoliant , I would use right after the gel, every day on oily part of your skin, and I would finish with a toner. To clear the acne I find that Special Clearing Booster works best.

Hello, I purchased dermalogica special cleansing gel from EDS. I prefer foaming cleanser with rich lather. I used MDF for 16 months. I like MDF but they don't have foaming cleanser with rich lather. So I tried lancome, estee lauder, clarinse, clinique, and shiseido. But these have strong perfume and make my face feeling tight and dry. I asked EDS aesthetician by email. My skin is sensitive combination with a few pimples. She recommended dermalogica special cleansing gel. I wasn't interested in dermalogica.

I got a sample of this gel because of one thing.... I read the ingredients and one of the items listed was "Balm Mint" :)
I've used this three times and I quite like it. I does not feel minty or tingly, though I did feel a slight cooling sensation as I washed it off. Mind you that could have been because I REALLY wanted this to give me that minty tingle *blushes* This comes in a clear gel that you rub in your wet palms to foam it up a bit (it doesn't foam up a lot) and then massage on a damp face.

I recieved a sample of this and I have to say I am impressed.
A clear liquid, soap free, was a little disapointed at first that it did not lather much but it took off all my make-up, was gentle on the eye area and did not leave my skin feeling tight afterwards.
There is not much scent to this, I did detect a slight mintyness which I wished had been stronger.
On the whole I did like this

23 y/o Oily skin.
PROS:
- Great cleanser for almost any skintype except for dry/very dry IMO.
- I have very sensitive skin and this is completely benign and nonreactive. This is a big thing for me.
- No film forming agents. (As someone with acne prone skin, I worry about things leaving a film.) This also washes off very easily.
- Takes off makeup easily. I only wear very light foundation (rarely) so I'm unsure if it will remove more heavily applied makeup.
- Does not burn if I get it in my eyes.
