So I was out last night and a friend told me of this "mascara I just have to try." She mentioned her friend introduced it to her and it doesn't come off like most mascaras. She didn't mentioned "tubes" but the way she described it reminded me of Blinc Kiss Me. I asked her what it was called and she said she thought it was Trish McEvoy...does anyone know if there is another mascara out there that is similar to Blinc? She loves it and wants to buy a full size (she received a sample). I did some googling but came up with nothing conclusive.
I'm intrigued. |

Mirenesse has one just like Blinc (tubes) and I like it better because it has a traditional teddy bear brush. |

The Trish McEvoy mascara comes off in tubes, they do a volume one and a curling one. I have used both and prefer the curling one. |

Oh so she was right! I had no idea. HAve you tried the Blinc at all Smoothskin? I'm wondering how this compares...I'd like something that comes off a little easier than Blinc. I ended up pulling some lashes out |

No, sorry, I haven't tried Blinc, but the Trish McEvoy mascara comes off easily without irritating my eyes. |

I use Blinc and I love how it comes off easily! The only "problem" I have is that it's "only" and lengthening mascara and does not add volume at all. |

Yes, your friend is talking about the Trish McEvoy High Volume mascara.
I had for years used the Trish McEvoy Lash Curling mascara, it's great as you don't have to use a curler (I have long but very straight eyelashes). I find it comes off normally.
I tried the Blinc one a while back after the raves on here but did not like it. Didn't really have much impact and I don't like the way you took it off, I needed to rub it which I don't think is very good for the skin around your eyes. And it made some lashes fall out and mine don't do that very often normally. But as so many things on the forums, it's a personal preference!
So back to the TM curling I went. After I had my eyelashes curled professionally, I thought I don't need curling mascara anymore so splashed out on a variety of mascaras. (the one I liked most was Clinique Naturally Glossy).
As part of these 'trials', I tried the TM High Volume macara and found it really like Blinc in the way it came off in tube. I didn't really like the way it looked on me, made my lashes look spidery and thin..and the brush was really thick so I found it hard to get in the corners. However, apparently it's really really popular and it looks fine on the TM SAs.
Personally, I'm back on my TM curling mascara which adds more than enough length to my lashes and makes them look more lucious. (I was lucky, I don't know if it's because the SA knows me well...too well lol... but she swapped the lenghtening one for the curling one I normally use). |
