Hi,
I have just started using Retin- A 0.025% and have a couple of questions to long term users.
Has there really been any difference in your skin after one year or more?
What sort of changes have you noticed - did your skin get worse or better?
How many times a week should you use it?
Is it actually a good idea to use a moisturising cream 45 minutes after applying Retin A or does this reduce its affects?
Also if you do use a moisturiser is Palmer’s cocoa butter formula with vitamin E or Eau Thermale Avene ok to use? |

Hi s&b, welcome.
Why don't you take a look at one of the retin-a threads? There tons of posts from people sharing their experiences and where all your questions have been answered in depth. |

It's been close to a year since I started retin a. I have since changed to ziana which is a .025% Trentoin gel. I love it!! Retin a micro was way too irritating for my skin. It literally burned me!! I now have new skin!! if you don't like the retin a check into ziana! |

I have been using retin A .05% cream 3 times a week for nearly 2 years. I have seen an improvement in tone, clarity, and the pore size has decreased. I've tried the retin a gel .01%; and it is too much! I used it only once a week. Even with such little frequency it was still too strong. I use it only as spot treatment for acne. I don't know if that s the same as the micro. |

I have been buffering with what I now use the Retin – A 0.05 – if I buffer with it could I use it nightly?
Will this be better or should I use it on alternate nights, whilst buffering?
Also if I continue to buffer long term will it be just as effective? |
