If so, how do you like it? Do you put it on before or after moisturizer? I'm thinking it is broad spectrum because it has Octinoxate and Octisalate that both protect against UVB and Benzophenone which protects against UVA. One listing I found also said that it has Avobenzone which protects against UVA too. Can anyone who has the product provide the list of active ingredients? TIA |

In case anyone is interested I received a call from the Jan Marini offices that confirmed that the active ingredients in the daily face protectant are:
Octinoxate 7.5%, Octisalate 5.0%, Benzophenone 3.6%, Avobenzone 1%.
It also received very good reviews on dermstore.com |

I use it and love it. My face tends to be oily and I don't like using products that feel like they sit on top. This product absorbs well and makes my skin feel soft. I have re-ordered it several times. I get it on Ebay.

Thanks Kater, I got mine in the mail today so I'll try it out tomorrow. The bottle I got has a stickey on it that says "Now includes Phytomelanin" which, according the the Jan Marini website, helps prevent UV damage, and protects against sunburn cell formation, lipid peroxidation, erythema and inflammation.

Sounds good! |

If you have any hyperpigmentation, be careful with the JM sunscreen. This is the s/s that caused my freckles to pop back up after all my hard work with Obagi. |

Thanks rileygirl, I've been having second thoughts about this sunscreen as I've done more research today. I looked it up in the cosmetics database someone posted on the forum and it made me very uneasy. With that, and your comments I think I'm going to return it and continue on my sunscreen search. I've recently started using Actives so I've been looking for something stronger than what I've been using. |

You're welcome, jom. Everyone is different, but honestly, 1 use of this s/s and my freckles popped up. So disappointing.
I have been using Sofina Perfect White with great success. It is light and runny, and when you pat it on, it gives a wonderful smooth feeling and you don't even know you have sunscreen on.
I really love the Becca SPF 30 primer, as well, but that one I am not too sure of as far as best protection, but the feel of Becca is wonderful. |

o m gosh, I've used this a few yrs, on and off but pretty much in the winter quite often and I liked it b/c of it being a 30 spf and a moisturizer all in one.
BUT my freckles poppoed up too!!
I have that white cast and heaviness w/ the good high spf physical sunblocks but always liked this for it's feel and no breakouts or reactions but I'm wondering now..these fliping freckles are new and popping up
I am going to put these tubes aside.
My blotches got worse too and I only use a 10% AHA 2 x/s a week.
UGH.
Glad I joined here today so I could see this!

And I was hoping I can use it as a suncreen/foundation. There aren't that many SPF 30 tinted product around. |
