I was told that Dermalogica is for 'younger' skin (Im 33)and as a result changed to Sothys. I am really not impressed with this brand but not sure what direction I should go in for my skin care. I have been told Pevonia is a good one to try.
Any thoughts? |

Hi kirstya
I have used both Dermalogica and Pevonia and liked both of these ranges but IMO the Pevonia is the winner especially once you hit 30 plus.
I have never used Sothys so could not comment on this range of products.

Hi Kirstya,
I am also 33 and give my preference to Pevonia creams (specially with marine DNA) and combination skin lotions. But for quicker renewal of skin I use Dermalogica cleanser with AHA. It works, dead cells seem to shed faster and cream keeps the moisture in without greasy feeling.
Sothys - I tried the whole range for combination type and through it away. It smells funny, I had a reaction and it contains some "funny" things that I did not regard as healthy. |

I agree that Pevonia would be the best skin care line among the three choices. I have used numerous Dermalogica products and have not really liked anything however, that's just my own opinion. I have tried several samples of Sothys products but have not been impressed by anything either. Pevonia is a good skin care line. I have a couple of their moisturizers and they are quite nice. But, one of their products, the "enzymo-spherides peeling cream" is truly outstanding. So, I vote for Pevonia. |

The only problem is they all use silicones. Pevonia atleast doesn't use parabens but the others do. |

Only like 3 products in Dermalogica, dont like sothys, I did like a few sample of Pevionia but not enough to judge. However it would be my choice of the 3. |

I have found that their cleansing milk has helped clear up my skin.
I have tried Dermalogica and found that it has not helped me.
I have problematic skin. |
