I love BON JOVI and they are definately on my to see list. Whilst we are on this line I must confess have seen Black Sabbath [before Ozzie blew his brains out}. And I love AC/ DC and after I inbibe a bit too many breezers I always totally mortify my kids by headbanging. |

Yup. Me too. I just got back from Ontario two days ago, and I was a little bummed that I had to miss Van Halen playing at Toronto's Air Canada Centre the other night (tix were too expensive, short notice), and I'd love to have seen the aforementioned other groups ... I did see KISS a few years back. AWESOME! All of the other stuff, I listen to, blasting my earsdrums to certain deafness, while running. That, and my ring-tone on my cell phone is to the tune of Black Sabbath's "Paranoid".
Best concerts I've been to: Luscious Jackson at the Plaza of Nations in Vancouver (Nov, 1999), Diana Krall at The Orpheum in Vancouver (Oct., 2001), KISS at GM Place in Vancouver (May, `97), and Natalie Merchant at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver (March, `99). Craziest concert I've been to: New Kids on the Block at the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto (Aug, 1990). I flew across the country from Smithers, B.C. (14 hours north of Vancouver) to catch this group at the Ex., with 64,000 other screaming, hysterical teenage girls. OMG My ears rang for three days. Why did I go all that way? I wanted to visit family/friends there at the same time. "Yay, New Kids!" http://www.vh1.com/artists/az/new_kids_on_the_block/flipbooks.jhtml |

Lady’s how about this one. My youngest son of 14 asked if I would take him to see The Sex Pistols. I have to confess, I couldn’t wait. If you could of seen his face while driving up to the Waldorf in San Francisco. Now he asked if I would get tickets for Robert Smith of the Cure. I can’t wait. I guess I lost some time while giving birth in those days. (Yes I miss the good times.) In reality it probably kept me out of trouble. Thank God. |
