Hi all,

I have been using Pevonia for over 4 months now. I was warned that initially some people's skin purges - and as I suspected - mine did (right around xmas and new year!!). The past couple of months though has seen my skin get past the purging and it is 'relatively' clear.

However, reading the raves about Yonka I am wondering if my skin could be even better. I do still get the odd spot and bumps on my chin and my nose still has blocked pores - what I want to know is is it possible to have "perfect skin" or am I asking the impossible?

I have combination skin and am in my mid 30's. The Pevonia range I am using is the Combination line (cleanser, lotion and moisturiser) and also the Collastin eye contour and the Enzymo-spheride peeling cream.

I am due to re-order so am hoping for some advice from others before hand so I know whether to stick with Pevonia or to jump ship to Yonka which I have read so many great tings about. Any suggestions would be much appreciated Smile

Hi Sal-star. Just thought I'd let you know that I have tried so many skincare lines in the past and I thought that you had to buy all the same line to get good results. (Clinique, Biotherm, Jurlique, Sothys etc).

Since being on this forum, I have learnt that there are so many fantastic products out there that do so many things for your skin. I would recommend that you try different things that may be suited to your own skin type then that way you can introduce them to your routine and see if they work for you.

I have found the best results for me have been from using a basic cleanser (sometimes Cetaphil) a scrub from Pevonia, a vitamin c serum, a moisturiser from an Aussie skin care line, Janesce, a sunscreen from DDF and my eye cream varies with what samples I have in my bathroom cupboard. Its really just trial and error.

Thanks Nelly. I am trying to get my head around mixing brands - for some reason I have always purchased from the one range.
There are some Pevonia items I like but I might try looking for other alternatives to use in conjunction - trial and error as you say Smile
