I just got an announcement from Sephora about this new Peter Thomas Roth Oily Problem Skin Instant Mineral Powder Sunscreen, and I'm curious.
I still have almost a whole tube of the older Mineral Powder Sunscreen stuff, because the casing on my almost-empty tube broke and they gave me a whole new one. I'll probably use the old up before I try this, but I might jump sooner if I hear great things. My complaint about the old stuff is that it was too tan, and the brush was really scratchy. This looks like the same brush and it does look mildly tan, but the hue looks a bit paler (like me!). However, the new stuff might be TOO pale with the titanium dioxide content.
I also am curious about adding stuff like salicylic acid to a sun protection product -- doesn't SA increase photosensitivity? Maybe only in liquid forms? Anyway, if anyone's tried the stuff, please do chime in! |
