Susie:
You can see some of my comment's in other thread's, so I will *try* to keep it short.
I own a Day Spa and we just recently added this line to our spa. In fact, we transitioned all the old products out and brought CosMedix and SkinCeuticals onboard.
As for CosMedix, I love it. I have been using this line for about 3.5 weeks and probably will not change again. Which, for me, is very unusual. I am only 28, so not a lot of lines or wrinkles and I am extremely oily and suffer from blackheads and breakouts. But CosMedix has really gotten that under control.
We have prescribed the line to two of our clients in their late 40's, early 50's and they are getting excellent results. They should be coming in for their first peel this week or next.
You definately need someone to explain the line to you and make sure you are prescribed the correct products. You also need consistent peel's, after your skin is prepped properly. The line is extremely active and overuse of some of the products can be to much. You use so little of the products.
The Refine product contains L-Retinol A, which is the left-hand spin of Retin A. At 4% it is the same as a .5 Retinol and gives great results. You can also get an 8% and the MD Formulation is 12%, which you can only get from a Doctor. The company is Glycolic free and they promote accelerating the skins natural turnover rate, not thinning the skin.
I definately recommend it and I have gone through a lot of products. Just make sure it is prescribed properly and you use the correct products and do so sparingly. |
