Hi,
I have been wondering about this and need help!!!
I am interested in trying out the Super Serum Advance from IS Clinical. But it says that it has 15% of L-ascorbic acid with copper tripeptide growth. But isn't the Copper-Peptide inactivates the Vitamin C?? and not recommend to use together? how come the two ingredients are put together in a bottle?!!
Please advise!
Thanks |

Hi lilbou4, Here is a quote from their original press release briefly describing how they were able to do it:
The Innovative Skincare R&D team sourced a new version of L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) technology to employ in the ADVANCE+ formulas. This version of L-Ascorbic Acid offers time-released, continuous and steady delivery to cells, providing a more efficient and effective form of the powerhouse ingredient. Additionally, its uniquely stabilized molecular structure allows it to be formulated with other potent ingredients, previously thought impossible, to enable enhanced collagen production and additional anti-aging benefits.

Here also is something that Antonia shared from New Beauty Mag:

This new product apparently has done what no other has and combined copper and vitamin C. Here's what New Beauty mag has to say about it:
Amazingly, iS CLINICAL has found a way for a more stable, time-released form of 15% vitamin C and copper tripeptide growth factor to live in harmony in their Super Serum Advance+. Since the vitamin C used contains a more stabilized molecular structure, it can be combined effectively with copper. This unlikely but outstanding pair stay balanced, working in tandem to promote the repair and creation of skin cells and consequently, encourage younger-looking skin.
Also in this uber-formula is mushroom extract, a source of kojic acid, which addresses hyperpigmentation and overall dullness. Antioxidant powerhouses zinc sulfate and centella asiatica (also known as gotu kola) go beyond basic free-radical defense to reduce inflammation and foster healing.
Regular use of this breakthrough blend leads to a smoother, more even-toned, better-protected complexion. |
