I am so tired of spending my hard earned money on expensive skincare and not seeing results.
I see good reviews here but is this skincare line really that great? I want to spend my money where I will see noticable improvements!!!
Will this line be worth the money?

What I am trying to treat:
Large pores/bad skin texture
Ruddy complexion
Hyperpigmentatiom
Lines under eyes(kinda deep for a 33yr old)

Have you tried a retinoid, Vitamin C, and really good UVA/UVB sunscreen? Those would be my first recommendations before adding anything else. It will take time to see results, but there's more clinical support for those three than any other skincare products.

If you have sensitive skin, you might want to ease your way into a good skincare regimen. Good luck!

I've had some good results with IS Clinical - mostly in the eye area. I use the Youth Complex and Active serum. However, I agree with flitcraft - try retin a, Vit C and use sunscreen. See if those help your concerns. I use Vit C serum in the morning and alternate nights between the retin a cream and the IS Clinical combo.

The Youth complex may help with your eye area, but I really don't think it'll do much for your pores and hyper-pigmentation.

Yes I agree, a Clarisonic face brush also. Caffeine dehydrates the skin so don't over-do on that ....

Vitamin c
clairsonice brush
a good physical sunblock
skin looks horrible on retin-a(used for many months)
All these I do and have for about 4 years. My skin still looks bad.
I want glowing skin, even skin texture, even skin tone and only slight wrinkles.
Will I get any of these results from IS clinical?

You could think about Obagi for your issues. It uses hydroquinone, but if you don't have a problem with that, I think it is the best line out there and well worth the money. It will take care of your pigmentation/uneven skin tone and fine lines/wrinkles.

have you done any peels? they are fantastic fixes for even really bad skin. I highly recommend if you haven't tried, really really worth the pain and the money.

also are you drinking lots of water and eating good oils? You should take omega 3 oils, eat fish, take Vit D, for your skin. Stay away from vegetable oil and food prepared with it because it causes inflammation, it's terrible in the free radical department. Sugar and high glycemic index foods also cause inflammation.

Yes I have done peels at the dr. office.
I had 3 15%tca/jessner and peeled a great deal and at the end of it never saw a difference at all. The dr. put a black light on me to see if my pigmentation was at the surface or if it was deep and it is at the surface.
I like the idea of using IS clinical but maybe if it doesnt produce the same results as Obagi I should just try the Obagi. Thanks

I use the Phyto-C version (original formula) now rather than the IS Clinical. When IS clinical made changes to the serums, I was not happy with the results.
EDS carries the Phyto-C PRoheal, Super, Active and Icy Blue (Hydra Cool) that I love!

A question about ISC Youth Complex, can you use this with vitamin C? Because it has copper in it correct?

From the Skincarerx site: "Combination of fruit acids exfoliates and renews surface layer of skin. Tripeptide Copper HGF Growth Factor stimulates production of collagen, elastin, and rejuvenates the skin."
