I only got the Matt dvd. I like it a lot actually, ut it is very different. I like that it is just her, it has good calm music, and she barely talks, so it's not annoying at all. The workout is different then when I do weights though. It hurts in a very different way, not pleasant at all, but I think that's because it is working all of the smaller supporting muscles that I don't usually activate, and the whole endurance thing. I was skeptical because of the whole - 3lbs only. But in reality it is super painful without any weights at all. She totally exhausts your arm muscles before she even gets to the dumbells, so by the time you pick the dumbells up it is very painful. All I can say is it is a killer and painful to get through, yet it doesn't leave me sore the next day, which is odd. I can totally see why she says you can do it 6 days a week, as you are not really recovering so much like you do with traditional exercises and weights. I think it is just working different muscles in a different way and building endurance. So, I still plan on doing traditional workouts and circuits, but doing this a couple of times a week. I'm a fan! |

I collect workout videos. (sidebar - I have started a sub-collection that is headed - Do Not Even Bother to Watch These Again - I'm housecleaning ) Of my roughly 1,000,000 of them, there are a few that I really like. Sometimes I purchase all of the dvd's that a particular instructor has, and then end up using only one or two of them.
I usually buy from Collage Video (www.collagevideo.com) but check out amazon or chapters first to see what they have. Their shipping can be nil & there isn't any potential duty to be paid - I don't live in the US.
However......I just checked out the Collage Website & didn't see a Tracy Anderson listed. Is the one that you mentioned, Byrg, called the Matt? It sounds intriguing to me - I like the one on one concept. Do you purchase on line? I wonder if there is a way that I can see a clip..... I'm going to google her right now! |

Good grief. One of my pet peeves is that someone doesn't research before asking a question here. Upon googling, I found the above website devoted to my query. And it does look good. |

Oh yeah when I did her matt workout I thought, this is nothing.Arms now they really hurt while moving them.Next day I was very very sore all over. The post pregnancy one is nice,it has beautiful classical music. Its mainly abs.
She had web videos for $10.00 to put on your Ipod cant seem to find all three. Her new one is a treadmill workout with molly sims.I dont have a treadmill so cant really use it.
Gwyeneth Paltrow's GOOP website has some free workouts from Tracy Anderson on her website plus some great recipes. |

I'm a fan. I've been doing the mat workout a few days a week. It's easily the best arm workout in the world and the leg stuff is good too but you have to work at it. I did Transform over the weekend and laughed out loud; she speeds a lot of the moves up which makes them look silly but still very effective. |
