I have been searching all week for a more natural sunscreen - I know this is a catch 22 dilemma, the sunscreen issue, however I still have hope. Aubrey Organics sunscreens keep coming up in google searches as one of the best "natural" sunscreens around. I have tried to search EDS for reviews on this product but haven't found anything (yes tried to search EDS via Google as well). Like many others, I feel the sunscreen issue is a no-win situation: the chemicals, what really works and what doesn't, the terrible oiliness from products that are effective, the new evidence that sunscreens can cause cancer, the ineffectiveness of more natural solutions, etc. I don't trust every opinion I come across on Google but since Aubrey came up a number of times, I would love to know if anyone uses their sunscreen products or has any opinions. I checked out MUA as well but there were no reviews for Aubrey sunscreen there either.

Anyone out there who can shed some light on this?

Thanks!

Here are ingredients for their strongest sunscreen: Natural Sun SPF 25 Sunscreen (not that strong)

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Padimate O (PABA Ester), Titanium Dioxide.
INACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Coconut Fatty Acid Cream Base, Jojoba Butter, Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Shea Butter, Organic Aloe Vera, White Camellia Oil, Lecithin, Canadian Willowherb Extract, Aubrey's Preservative (Citrus Seed Extract, Vitamins A, C and E), Silica, Jasmine Oil.

Apparently the PABA is a "not harmful" kind (?).

Another product that got good reviews was UV Natural from Australia (far far away from me). Any other recommendations?

Hi Oriana, when I was looking around for a more organic chemical free sunscreen, I actually considered that brand but opted out because I was afraid the coconut oil would clog my pores.

I started using Juice Beauty tinted moisturizer spf 30 with no ill effects so far [a couple weeks] - it still leaves my face a little shiny but that seems to be the case with any sunblock I use! Ingredients below, and if you do a search you'll find tons of reviews...

Ingredients:
active ingredient: titanium dioxide.
ingredients: organic juices of pyrus malus (apple) juice, vitis vinifera (white grape) juice, punica granatum (pomegranate) juice & aloe barbadensis leaf juice, organic cucumis sativus (cucumber) fruit extract, organic camellia sinensis (green tea) leaf extract, organic cera alba (beeswax), octyl palmitate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, glycerin, cetearyl alcohol, cetearyl glucoside, organic plant oils of helianthus annuus (sunflower), persea gratissima (avocado) & simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), sodium pca, sodium hyaluronate, retinyl palmitate (vitamin A), phospholipids, panthenol (vitamin B5), ascorbyl palmitate (vitamin C), xanthan gum, tetrasodium edta, phenoxyethanol, mica & iron oxides (mineral tints), citrus aurantium (petitgrain), cinnamomum camphora (ho wood) & citrus reticulata (mandarin) pure essential oils.

Good luck!

I saw this sunblock on Aubrey's website. It looks like a good product.

Yet, I wonder if it really leaves a white cast on the face?
