Hello!
I have a package of the Lotioncrafters L-Ascobic Acid and Ferulic Acid that I purchased in 2012 and I was wondering if anyone knows if it is still good? The original packaging has been opened, but it has been stored in a sealed ziploc bag and inside a drawer in my bathroom. I made a few batches of DIY Vitamin C serum when I first purchased the ingredients, but then I took a long break, so I am wanting to get back into it. I made another batch last week and the LAA still appears to be active (my serum was ph 2.8, but how can you tell if it is oxidized??
Do you think its safe or should I repurchase the ingredients??
Thanks in advance! |

Likely safe. You should be able to tell if the C powder is different. I would keep it out of the bathroom from now on. Too much moisture/heat in there. |
