Are you using a good eye cream to plump up the skin? I get wrinkles around the eye area when I am dehydrated and when my skin is dehydrated. The first point of all (if you are not doing so already) would be to drink plenty of water and use a good hyaluronic acid serum around the eye area, followed by a good eye cream or gel. Cellcosmet eye cream is still my favourite, though it is high end, and a serum like PSF HA is a good and cheap hyaluronic acid option. |

Children have wrinkles when they smile - so first answer is NO - nothing can be done. however trouble is when you smile and the lines stay around!!!!

I don’t think if the lines are from squinting that exercises should be your focus, but instead remodeling agents/skincare. You see lines are usually damaged tissue. Whilst you recognize these are from squinting its because the skin is damaged that the lines remain or are visible. Kids smile and pull faces and then when they stop their skin snaps back and there are no traces of the lines. When you have severe sun damage or have done an expression a million times, it leaves a trace in the skin, but that is the skin not the muscles. I’m not so convinced from what I read that lower lid exercises are actually a good thing. Yes I do them, but I’m in my 60s and have had severe bags due to general health conditions and plain old age, but someone in their 20s or 30s I think can sometimes make things worse. I know that goes against whats said by the experts – but I’ve read so many youngsters doing lower lid exercises and getting horrible results that it makes me weary. |
