where are the fans of the activator gel ?
Do you take it off before putting on the next product or do you layer it on the top of the gel.
thanks. |

Cellcosmet Activator Gel is one of my HG products. After cleansing, apply the activator gel, smooth it on and do not rub in. Then have a cuppa for 3 minutes while it tingles and does all sorts of good thing for your skin. Then rinse it off and continue with your normal routine. If your skin is normal, apply it to dry skin but if your skin is sensitive, apply it to damp skin. HTH. |

Here's the way I'm using it: Cleanse with ISC Cleanser, rinse thoroughly with water and then apply Activitor Gel to the wet face and leave it on for a few minutes till the tingle goes away. I suppose this is ok?
I'm still using the sample I got from EDS and upon my first use, I thought I love it (skin feels softer and looks clearer). But now I'm not sure whether it's only my imagination. I'm going to finish the last bit of the sample tonight and if I'm going to miss it/see a difference without it, it will be definitely included in my next order! |

I just wrote to Tiger that I couldn't really imagine why & how it should work, what's the whole fuss about - until yesterday. I put it on yest. in the evening after cleansing (on dry face and the gel was very sticky, drying immedietely, making it hard to smooth on).
After taking it off i put the ISC Active on, which was tingling again (it didn't during the recent few weeks). My skin seemed to be nice and smooth, with smaller pores today in the morning (but CK makes me insecure, probably it was an imagination only ?! . . .).
I have two samples from EDS, so i'm going to use them until they'll last & will see. |

Hi lin23, please don't let me make you feel insecure. Actually my skin does feel softer and smoother after using the Activator Gel. It also seems to help clear up pores (is that possible?). I just feel it's too good to be true. Plus I've just started using Active Serum (applied right after Activator Gel) for less than 3 weeks and I wonder the results come from Active Serum alone.
Just being cautious here because it's not cheap after all. |

I am still undecided on the Activator Gel as I am not sure it agrees with my sensitive skin. I have 2 samples and will be trying it again. However, the few times I used it my skin did feel a lot softer and smoother. I think that if my skin can tolerate this product I would buy it! |

I ordered the full size of this on the reviews alone! I have very resistant skin and this sounded like an excellent product to help all the other stuff I use penetrate better! |

I really like the activator gel as well. I use it on wet skin after cleansing, I usually only leave it one about 2 minutes, rinse with warm water . |

Is it common for this product to make you flush when you first start using it? I just tried a sample after using Cellcosmet Purifying Gel cleanser and my skin is totally pink and flushed. I'm worried I shouldn't try to sample this again. Thanks in advance. |

That is quite normal. It regularly makes my skin flush and I have used it for quite some time. The flushing does not last long. |

I LOVE Activator gel! It contains cinnamon and ginger, I think - makes your lymp and blood circulate better, thats where the fluch comes from. It makes the following products go deep inside and act quickly. I noticed that if I apply night cream without using activator gel - in the morning I wake up with a oily layer on my skin. When I use it after the gel - it absorbs much much better. |

Unfortunately, I loved the sample I received. It says it's not for sensitive skin though...I have a couple broken capillaries and am prone to perioral dermatitis. Could I still use this product? I'd like to. It worked so well |

I think you could. Just apply it to wet skin and only leave on for a shorter time to start with. |

OK, I'm a fan too. I have to say I am more in love with the feeling, scent and the "refreshment" of using it than anything else - not to say it doesn't work - my skin defnately feels softer and smoother since I've been using it - and my blackheads are definately less noticable - but then again, I am also in love with the Cellcosmet dual action exfoliator as well - which is also contributing to my smoothness! |

In fact, different from many other exfoliating products, you do not feel your face is exfoliated when applying it. You just feel clean face after using it. |
