Since hyaluronic acid is a great moisture barrier, how is vitamin C absorbed when mixed together in a serum? It seems that the Vitamin C would have to be put on first and not mixed in a serum with the HA.

Hyaluronic acid is used in a great many Vit C serums and evidently aids in the penetration of the Vit c.. |

But isn't it true that HA operates in higher pH than Vitamin C (ascorbic acid)? That would also mean that HA makes the penetration of Vit. C rather troublesome.
However, I may be wrong here. |
