Has anyone had any success with a hair removal machine for the upper lip? I am medium skin color as I am Puerto Rican. My hair is not very thick.
So far I have found the following post, link below, of users having good results with the Silk'n Pro on a post about epilators. However, I don't want an epilator I am searching for a machine I can use at home that is a hair removal device that works well on the upper lip most importantly and the rest of the face.
The Silk'n Pro review below given was about how great it was on the body but they didn't mention the face. When I try to do a search for this the search results are for everything but what I am looking for. I trust this forum for real information and don't trust other sources.
Thank you sooooo much for your help!!!

I also had the same problem, but after taking some suggestion from my friends I ended up using a natural homemade trick of applying gram flour and turmeric paste mixture and it worked great on me and my other friends as well. So simply a trustworthy suggestion from me to check out. |

I have used hair removal creams earlier. Then I moved on to an epilator. Is it because of the pain that you do not want the epilator?
I tried the Braun Silk Epilator 7 7-561 since it has custom fittings for removing facial hair, and was very efficient in doing so. It also has a trimmer and shaving head which can also be used to remove delicate facial hair. |

I used to do threading to remove my upper lip hair. But it used to hurt a lot, even after having done it so many times. It was common for me to walk out of a parlour with red watery eyes after threading.
I too then bought a Braun Silk Epilator 7 7-561, and it is wonderful for removing lip hair. It just blows my mind that I used to dread using an epilator, but now cannot live without one. If you want to read about the Braun Silk Epilator 7 7-561, checkout this review.
I also remember one of my friends from India using turmeric and water for upper lip hair removal, but I can't seem to recall the exact procedure. I will update this post once I get hold of that procedure for hair removal. |
