Hi All,
Does an RF device work for face lifting?
Or we should rather go for microcurrent?
I am looking to address jowls and cheeks..
Thanks,
Mansi |

Theoretically both could..
RF should heat the dermal layers to tighten skin and encourage collagen.
Microcurrent is suppose to stimulate and retrain muscle..
..so they address different causes for the same issues. |

Tigerlilly009 and OP, I hope you don't mind my jumping into this thread, but you may know the answer to my question also...
As RF heats the under layer of skin, would it cause fat loss on the face? This has always been my concern.
I have a Stop Age TriPolar device and stopped using it as I was losing facial fat. I thought RF may cause the same issue?
Thanks |

I have heard that about RF and also heard the conflicting theories but I don't know for certain.
I do use a RF device but I only use it under the cheek area and predominately around the jowls and jawline to be on the safe side.
I do think it helps tighten that area. |

Thanks for that, Tigerlily009,
I think I'll consider other skin tightening devices, rather than risk RF all over my face.
Can't afford to lose any of the fat under my skin! |
