I couldn`t find pure salicylic acid at any of my home suppliers. I wanted to make a toner (25% alcohol, 2% salicylic acid and 73% water)for blackheads.
Most products on the market really suck with their salicylic acid formulations, not enough of the acid and too much other crap.
So I thought maybe I can dilute a pre-made one with distilled water?
For example this one:
Active ingredient: salicylic acid 17,4%
other ingredients: acetone, copovidone, ethyl cellulose, medium-chain triglyceride, aqua purificata (listed in this order on package)
Thanks for help! |

I tried it, just water didn`t work for me;
the salicylic product kinda crystallizes immediately and just swims as a film at the water surface.

My skin is very thin. Salicylic acid is terrible to me. This can damage the skin |
