One of the things I've just started trying to help with some skin issues is to wash my face with filtered water.
Our water is recycled and very hard, it contains chlorine and lots of other chemicals to disinfect it. I have no options in the shower though, the water is harsh on the rest of my skin but there's nothing I can do about it. My main concern is my face. I don't wash my face in the shower but I'm unable to keep the water off my face while I'm in there.
The only plausible idea I've thought of is applying some sort of barrier on my face before showering. An oil sounds like a good option but I don't know if I should go with a cleansing oil or a plain moisturizing oil.
I'm open to suggestions on what type of oil and what brand. I only use natural product brands and it needs a be affordable. I'm also open to suggested products alternative to oil.
Thanks. |
