I couldn't find the previous thread with all the colours stated so I decide to put this here. I just received my package today so I wanted to give more detailed descriptions of the colours:
Sunrise Pink - this is quite bright, I got this as part of my trio. Carekate also included a sample of this in my package but for some reason the sample is WAY brighter than the one in my trio and less sheer. I did some swatches to compare each colour on my hand and tried it on my lips. I can't use the one in the sample but the one in my trio is pretty - a girly bright pink - it's not heavily pigmented so I'd have to say it's between a light to medium shade depending on how much you put on.
Coral Kiss - I got this as part of my trio mistaking it for Apricot Glow (I got the names mixed up) and amazingly I prefer this over the Apricot Glow which I thought suited me more from the descriptions in the other thread. Coral Kiss to me is a sheer coral, or more specifically, a sheer PEACHY PINK. It also looks a bit bright but less so compared to Sunrise Pink. For those who loves peach tones would probably like this a lot.
Apricot Glow - This doesn't work very well for my lips. My lips are pretty pigmented and I find a lot of colours don't work well mixed with my original lip colour which is VERY close to MAC's Cremestick Liner in Beurre. Anyways, this is really much more apricot than Coral Kiss and I found it more pigmented. With "apricot" I mean that it's a lot warmer than Coral Kiss. Apricot Glow is an orange with a hint of brown (I'm bad at describing colours so bare with me) while Coral Kiss has pink tones in it. Apricot Glow is also less bright but appears way too orange on my lips for my liking.
YLBB - this is the PERFECT shade for my lips and also the last shade in my trio. It looks rosy/mauvish in the pan but this is the sheerest of them all. My favorite out of all the colours and the one I'm most likely to repurchase. Definitely lives up to the name and the perfect shade for an everyday look.
Dulce Vita - I got this sample in my previous order but since I'm talking about the colours I might as well give this a go too. This has more red/brown tones and is definitely another YLBB type of colour. This is similar in brightness to the Apricot Glow but Apricot Glow is orange and this is nudish red. I think this is wearable for everyone but for some reason my lips REALLY enhances the red in this and ends up looking brighter and redder on me than in the pan. So I can't wear this everyday but I still like it even though my skintone doesn't go well with red tones. |
