I've learned so much from this forum. What's your most valuable thing you've learned here?
For me, I learned that I shouldn't be afraid of oil in skincare (certain types anyway). I always thought that being oily-skinned meant I had to have oil-free products. Now I'm using Decleor YY oil and balms, as well as I Feel Pretty healing serum and loving every bit of their oily goodness!
What about you? What the most important thing (for your own routine) you've learned. Or even, what surprised you the most (that would be ditto for the oil on oil routine for me!).

I've learned that the most effective skincare products aren't exclusively sold in the high-end department stores.
I've learned not to get sucked into the latest marketing blitz promoting the newest wrinkle miracle cream by actually reading and understanding the ingredients.
I've learned that in the past 3 years on this board that I know 100 times more about skincare than any salesperson standing behind the counter. |
