Lavender oil is one of the most spiked and stretched oils out there because of its popularity therefore, you will find a variation in scent, quality and of course, price. The scent and quality of lavender is dependant on the region, location and geography of where it is grown. My favourite lavender oil comes from Provence, France or the English Highlands. Make sure you are buying your oil from a reputable distributor and that it is organic. This way you can rest assured that your lavender oil has not been blended with other types of lavender, lavandin or worst of all synthetic oils. |

world of mirth,
I would try the wild lavender from Ananda Apothercary on the internet. I have the high altitude lavender and the spike lavender, and I can tell you that the spike lavender is more medicinal smelling. From the description, it sounds like the wild lavender is the sweetest smelling. I'd give them a call to make sure. I've ordered from here before and have been happy with their customer service and speedy delivery. |
