I don’t know if anyone remembers, but a few weeks ago I was asking for help in
identifying some shoes on ebay... and thanks to some help on here I was pointed in the
right direction on where to find them (Korean auction site).. MY SHOES CAME
TODAY!!! These shoes are truly the coolest sneakers I’ve ever seen or owned. There’s a
3 inch heel hidden in them! I seriously thought that the pictures of them where well taken
and concealing the fact that they probably looked chunky in person, or the heel being
obvious. The pictures actually don’t do them justice.. in person they look like regular
sneakers! I mean if you REALLY examine them you can maybe tell they have a heel
hidden in them, but when they’re on... they look like regular sneakers. Now I get to be
super model tall and no one will know I’m really 3 inches shorter!!
I think I’m gonna buy these in every color. I mean I got them for like $55 total (something
around there because I had to pay the adjusted shipping)
A pic from the side (and its weird, in person they don't really look like they have a "heel":
Thanks Tiger_Tim for helping me find these shoes
(btw, the shoes themselves were under $20, but the rest of the price was in the shipping to the US!!! And they do NOT at all look like cheap shoes. I imagine most of the shoes we have over here would be around that price in Korea anyway) |

Alright, if anyone is interested in buying on the Gmarket for these shoes (or any of their items).. these are the steps and hints and tricks (to not screw it up like I did the first time). The shoes cost me a total of $53.81. It would be more or less depending on where you live and the shipping.
I had problems using the site in Firefox so I would recommend Internet Explorer.
If you want to buy something you have to register for an account first (free of course and quick, you just have to verify your email)
http://global.gmarket.co.kr/challenge/neo_member/fmember_registration.asp
If you plan on paying with PayPal you should probably use the email that is hooked up with your paypal account as the email you're registering with Gmarket. They also accept credit cards but I paid first by Paypal.
There are two options for the shoes, the first drop down box being size and the second style and color. The sizes are in Korean and go up to 250 (size 8 womans in US) and the smallest is 226 (size 5 and a half). They have all half sizes between that. I find the sizing to be very accurate. I wear a 7.5 Nike woman's and that's exactly the right size for these shoes on me as well. The second drop down box is for style and color. Translated it is: first is A type RED, second is A type Brown, third is B type Black, and fourth is B type brown. Style A is what I got, the full suede look. Style B is a sort of suede/nylon combo.. you can see the two by scrolling down the page.
After you've registered, you buy the item. Then they give you 7 days to pay for it. I paid for it with Paypal, which took about 3 days for them to deposit into my Gmarket account. From there you have to convert you Gcash or Cash Balance to pay for your order. You just follow the instructions that state: Withdraw Cash Balance for the payment of my order.
Its all like a bizarro Ebay to me.
After a few days, it told me it was shipped to the post office and I had to pay the difference between the estimated shipping cost overseas and the actual estimated shipping cost (It was like $5 and that's included the the full price I paid of $53.81). I paid by credit card for this step and noticed the money was in my Gaccount within minutes rather than days with the Paypal method. Paypal was tricky too because you have to follow all the steps on how to pay for a nonebay auction. They have step by step instructions up on the site though.
I think I'm gonna buy a couple more things from this website, maybe try out some of the foreign skincare items they have up. I'm so addicted |

Hello everyone, since you have discovered the power of online translator, then you must check out this site - a chinese version of Ebay which has over 60% market share in China. The link below will be give you all the search results with this kind of shoes (sneakers, boots and more). The price you see is in Chinese Curreny (approx 8:1 to US dollars and 7:1 to Canadian dollars)which makes the price really attractive.
Here is the shopping link:
http://list.taobao.com/browse/50000003-50006843/t-0------95-----------------g,2t3lrxy----------------40-list-commend-0-all-50006843.htm
As of for shipping, I don't bid directly with the seller on this site. Instead I used an online agent who does ordering or bidding on anything that I see in any chinese shopping site. The agent will received the shipping within China on my behalf and store for free. I can request the agent to ship at any time but I would wait until I have enough purchases to make the shipping bill worthwhile. The first 2kg would cost about 20 us dollars then only $10 for every 2kg after. The agent's website will indicate the weight on each item they have received and you can pick and choose which item to get shipped to you to make the most of your shipping cost. Anyone who might be interested to explore a whole new world of shopping venues this could be worth checking out.
Here is the link to this agent:

Well first of all the traction is wonderful... running in them.. as in running to catch a train, YES. Running to workout? No (but you probably knew that). I would honestly rate the comfort a good 9 (they're not orthopedic shoes or designed for comfort so I'm sure they're not as comfortable as the ultimate comfort shoe). I honestly think you'd be happy with them if you got them. They are ALOT better than my past favorite high heel sneaker (The Guess Bardot style which I have faithfully bought 4 pairs of over the years). I much prefer this style, not only because the heel is hidden (the guess style shoes are VERY obvious that they're heels), but the comfort and stability of these are 100% better. Oh, here's a link a picture of the Guess Bardot style shoes
http://www.zappos.com/images/541/122541/47603-d.jpg
Not nearly as cute.. I wear these ones with jeans/pants that cover the heel.. it looks like little tennis sneakers sticking out.
That's how I discovered these MizMiz shoes. I was searching ebay for new high heel sneakers when I found them. |

Well first of all I have to say that the brown shoes I got are richer in color irl than they are in the pictures I took. They are a bit darker and overall look better in person than the picture. I think the brown ones go with the most compared to the rest but the red ones are more fun. They do not have the black in the nice style (style A). You can get black in style B though, but that's a nylon/suede combo.
When I spoke with customer service I did so online. I put in a question and noticed within the day they had replied. I could tell it was translated because it seemed a little off.. however it was easy to understand and they where prompt.
I normally wear a 7.5 (or 6Y in nikes) and thats the exact size I should have ordered from Gmarket. The larger size is okay but I definitely have to wear super thick socks or two pairs otherwise they go up and down. But they're very comfortable. I think you should order your regular size... don't go larger like I did. If worse comes to worse you can always sell em on ebay and make most of what you spent back if not all. |

okay first where you standing when you measured your foot? I measured my foot too when I bought these.. stood on a piece of paper and marked the heel and then marked the toe and measured in MM since that's what Korean shoes go by.
I have a pair of sketchers but I just checked and they're in storage so I can't compare for you with that brand
I will measure my foot again right now and get you inches and mm...
Okay in inches my foot (when I'm standing and putting my weight on my right foot) it is exactly 9.25 inches long and 235 mm
Btw, on Yahoo answers, you thank the person who answers your question by choosing them as the best answer and then you can comment if you wish (or not). They get ten points for getting a best answer award. That person should get it since I agree 100% in my findings that they are correct.
I'm gonna have a look for the memory foam high up shoes in a sec.. |

Yes. the second choice is A type Brown. What I have pictured.
If your foot is 235 than you should go with the 245 size for sure! We have the same size foot then. Sometimes I do wear smaller size in shoes. I have a 6.5 in adidas but they're a tiny bit snug. I really think you should go with the size 245.. is that what you were thinking?
No you don't order the size of your foot.. you have to allow some wiggle room.. ten millimeters sounds right. So I would order 245.. If you measured your foot and its 235 you don't want shoes that exact size.. they wouldn't fit
edit. ok well if u were leaving room when drawing your foot than yes 240 would probably be good
When I measured my foot I drew a line at my heel and one at where my big toe ended. I didn't actually trace it..I think my measurement was spot on with the tiniest room for wiggle. |

sure they're right here.. I weighed em yesterday!
uh.. I don't know if you should take this into account because it was a little difficult to do and its just going to confuzzle you even more.. okay, these shoes are big on me.. and with NO socks on they seem enormous on me (I swear they're good with socks on) so I put the right one on (i'm always dealing with the same foot here as not to confuse you, I guess feet can be different sizes very minimally).. anyway, I pushed my toe as much up as possible and took a pencil and measured my heel... and then stuck the ruler in there and measured.. they're big on me the wiggle room is a little over 20 (TWENTY!!) millimeters! (between where my heel ended and the actual heel of the shoe) but still with socks on and my foot not being shoved all the way to the front they're comfy
I think if you're really worried about it. Do exactly what I did. stand on a hard floor. Take a pencil and paper and just draw a line where your heel is and where you big toe is and then measure that. That way we're dealing with the same measurement system. But I really think you'll be good with a 240 or 245. 240 sounds like your best bet |

exactly. I think you'll be fine
You paid by credit card. Thats the better way to go because like I mentioned Paypal took a few days. Now do you see that you have cash in your g account? You need to use that to pay for your order (I'm not sure if you did this or not already I just want to make sure you know there's more than one step to pay for them) Once you've converted your cash balance or gcash to pay your order you're good. If you get an email saying something about your purchase and it says another item.. click it and make sure it brings you to the shoes. I got an email saying I ordered SUNGLASSES but when I clicked it it brought me to the shoes and YES I got the shoes in the mail, not sungless (I was a bit worried for a second )
You're going to want to watch the status of your order for a few days and you're going to have to pay another $6 or so for actual shipping once it gets to the post. Then from there you're good and they actually let you track it from their website.. telling you what flight they're on and everything |

Hi Qisme615,
Thank you soooooo much for this offer. I got an email from them in all Korean, and I couldn't begin to translate because there're a lot of sections. The translation web site is so bad at translating anyway.
Can I forward the email to you to forward to your friend if you don't mind?
Thank you again.

Hi Cherisse,
Yes, forward me the email, I'll PM you the address.
Your welcome,
