I'm confused, LucyLuc, in another thread you said the new Jan Marini product was the best you'd ever used...now it's ReVive?
In my opinion, the only product that works to actually eradicate wrinkles and sun damage (and the associated collagen and elastin degradation) is Retin-A, which retals for about $45 per tube. You can save even more money by purchasing a stronger version of Retin-A, and cuting it with moisturizer.
Aside from tretinoin, niacinimide and peptides have even proven to work somewhat...and one can buy those actives in Olay products for reasonable prices. Olay Regenrist products have received excellent reviews from consumers and dermatologists alike. By the way, there are peptides in the ReVive products, but for MUCH bigger price tag.
My concern is that women run out and purchase the "next big thing" upon any good review on a forum like this one. The product is usually which is often an extremely overpriced and with ZERO clinical studies showing any efficacy whatsoever. These prices are absurd for skincare products that do NOT even penetrate the dermis.
Spend your money wisely, ladies. |
