Legally, it has not been identified or created yet. Any company that claims they are "organic" in some way as a "cosmetic" is simply lying for their own benefit. And they are hoping that the consumer isn't smart enough to find this or research it.

While it may be the case that LEGALLY "organic" consumer cosmetic products do not exist, there are many companies that grow their own ingredients in house without pesticides, companies that shun petrochemicals and animal-by-products, and companies that make environmental responsibilty and stewardship one of their main goals. We are referring to these companies when we are discussing organic skincare, so please, if you don't have anything germane to add, kindly do the rest of us who are interested in this topic a favor and just move on to another topic. |
