You can apply toner with a spray bottle but TBH most toners are a waste of time and money anyway, it might be easier concentrating on a cleanser that rinses clean with water. |

Reviving this thread...
I am trying to find a good way for my SO to apply toner on his face - but cotton balls get caught in his facial hair, unless he has just shaved!
Any suggestions for an applicator that works for men's face (especially a day or two after shaving, when hair is a little longer and coarse)?
TIA |
Just an example but an after shave lotion may be a good option.
PROTEIN AFTER SHAVE LOTION
BENEFITS:
Disinfecting lotion for razor burn and ingrown hairs. This lotion will lightly moisturize and soothe delicate, post shaved skin. A significant aid to promote healing on minor skin irritations caused by razor burn and ingrown hairs. This lotion should be used immediately after shaving.

DM, telepathy! We ordered this today!!!
I still have him use toner though (not after he shaves), and my question is, how do I get him to apply it without splashing it in his hands first and thus wasting 1/4 bottle in one application? |

LOL Psychic here!
Maybe try those inexpensive (and washable) cosmetic sponge wedges? Not overly girly and won't stick in the beard stubble! |

Really? I read on the pH thread that a toner helps the skin get back to its acidic pH... So not true then... |
As I said, most! If you don't disturb the acid mantle there is no problem to solve with a toner. An acidic toner will reset the pH but it can't replace the entire acid mantle/ restore the skin flora. |
