Thank you Gellys, for your kind thoughts and the link.
Three years ago I lost my husband to cancer but I've moved on (people on this forum helped a lot, though they may not have been aware that they did). I've learnt that ultimately we can't be too attached to possessions, our kids and significant other included. Ultimately we are on our own, and it is what good we can give others that counts. It's better to live a short but meaningful life than a long selfish one. And we can't do good to others (my children, in my case, who now need me more than ever) if we sit around and be depressed all the time (for one thing we are not attracting other good energies into our lives, for another we'll lose all that gorgeousity we've worked so hard on since EDS haha).
