If you are considering getting a filler, you may want to check out PRP or Selphyl. They are a natural filler (derived from you own blood) which means you won't have an adverse reaction. I've had it twice in my face and once in my lips. I love the way it filled in my lips, especially. |

I'm going to get PRP next month! I am so excited! Did it hurt very much? How long did it take for the swelling to go down? |

It didn't hurt much at all. She spread a lidocaine solution all over my face about half an hour prior to injecting. I've had it done twice, the first time I was pretty swollen for about four days, the next time, for some reason I didn't swell as much. Prior to doing my lips, she did several numbing injections. You want to make sure you choose a very experienced injector.
I think PRP and Selphyl are the future. People are wanting safer and more natural ways to fight aging.
Let us know how it goes Whirleegig! |

I'm going to the doctor on Friday for a consultation on this - I'll let you know how it goes.
I don't think PRP can really be classified as a filler though. It is allot different and the results aren't instantaneous. |
