Can you check your local area for medical clinics that serve people who tend not to have insurance?
In my opinion only, it sounds like you need to have your hormones tested and perhaps a medical exam. Personally, I would not take hormones without professional advice.
Additionally, it could be something else - like a thyroid problem or emotionally based.
