Today, is the real start to my treatment plan, as I used setting one previously, which is just a practice setting on the device.
I have a lot of experience of laser treatments and generally most technical anti-aging devices and protocols, so I wasn't phased by the ReAura.
My skin was very slightly red after my first test on setting one, but it faded in about 30 minutes.
I treated area BC (cheeks) on setting 2 and A (forehead) on setting 3 (highest setting) today.
I didn't experience any pain during the treatment, apart from the slightly prickling feeling.
After the full treatment my face was red and warm.
I cooled it down with some Avene mineral water spray and applied the post treatment.
It is 2 hours since my treatment and my skin is slightly red, but I can go out and I don't thing anyone would notice. I am wearing a 30 SPF sun block for the next 8 weeks to protect the treated areas.
It is too early to comment on the results, but skin has a health glow.
I shaved before the treatment to give me a nice clean smooth area to work on.
The ReAura, gives you a uniformed red glow after treatment, which looks ok, but the PaloVia gives you a uneven finish after a treatment, which looks odd and you have to wait until the redness fades, so I am finding the ReAura easier to cope with any post treatment redness.

Zelda and all,
I am on my 5th week of treatment and the results are really great.
Results:
Pigmentation, small areas under my eye area, gone!
Radiance, my skin is glowing, like a teenager!
Firmness, after each treatment my skin feels firmer and taught.
Fine lines, almost all gone around my eyes, forehead still have a few but working on them.
I am more than delighted.
The biggest top tip is use the Avene Thermal Spring Water, it really helps to cool the face.
Looks like this is being suggested on other people's blogs, so people must be reading our forum!
I will report back at week 8.

Hi Photoqueen you certainly seem to be the expert to ask, I wondered how you had found the device for scarring I have some pitted scarring and was recommended fraxel but have read some feedback where people have ended up worse than when they started, so was reluctant to try this as my scarring is from a veinwave treatment that went wrong originally.
ReAura in my opinion will not deal with scarring, it will help the skin's texture but not remove the pitting.
The second question is does it treat broken capillaries?
ReAura does not work on broken veins.
Finally I see you are an expert and use quite a number of tools and treatments and wondered which have you found the most effective and how has it helped?
If you read all my posts over the years I think that will answer your question, I can't answer that in one post, as it would take me a week to write it.
PQ
Thank you for your feedback, I am pretty bad at buying things with good intentions and they then gather dust in my cupboard |

Does anyone know when this will be available in the US?? So if one is comparing this to the palovia the reaura emits a constant beam where the palovia emits a beam only for a short duration at a time Is that correct? Thanks for the clarification. |
No idea about the US issue, why not email Philips?
Palovia, gives 25 measure doses of laser, which allows you to treat the eye area. The ReAura, delivers a set dose for an entire area, for example, you use two doses to cover the entire neck area, you split the area into two.
All the information about the product is at:

Hi PQ,
Thanks for the link. I am anxious to research on my own and hear more of your results as time goes on.
I had a problem with Palovia. They tout clinical studies, but will not make them available, so this suggests they have something to hide - which automatically sends up a red flag to me.
- I found the Palovia, has very limited application, very small areas, only around the eyes, I use it rarely.
I see you refer to the ReAura as an electric dermaroller - do you use it similar to the dermaroller (i.e.- that after-serums are a key part of the collagen rebuilding process, etc.)?
No, I tend to just use Avene Water Spray to take the heat away from the treated area, followed by the after treatment cream supplied with the ReAura.
Thanks, BFG |
You are very welcome.

Hello photoqueen, by radiance and glow, do you mean a healthy tan look or brightness? Thank you |
Your skin looks, healthy, bright fresh and youthful, but slightly tanned. Everyone notices this now. |

I would honestly say, if I could only keep one device it would be the ReAura, amazing results, I would pay double the price for this device.
As you know I have tried them All and this is the one!

Space.NK is a vendor at QVC so I just emailed their customer service and asked if they may, sometime in the near future, have this item for sale. Just a shot in the dark, but what the heck, ya never know until you ask. |

So true Frodo, I hope you get an answer and let us know once you hear! |
Answer: Thank you for emailing QVC.
At this time we have not been made aware if we will offer the Space.NK Phillips Re'aura Laser Skin Rejuvenation at QVC. Since customer satisfaction is our top priority here at QVC, we always appreciate any suggestions or comments from our customers. I have forwarded your suggestion to offer this exciting product to the appropriate department.
We look forward to serving you again in the future!
Oh well, at least I did get an answer. If I had to guess, Space.NK is aware that people in the US would love to get their hands on this unit. Maybe it has to be approved before it can enter our lovely country. Just sayin' |

Hey so a couple of weeks in and have had to have a break from my last couple of treatments as have not had the chance to take downtime at home and it really does make your face red and scaly for several days!!! Not seen massive improvements as of yet (3 treatments) which is fine, I didn't expect to, but the after effects are a bit grosser than I expected, not pretty! After about 48 hours though the dryness goes and it seems like new skin comes through... and I have had the feeling it was looking slightly better... think it's too soon to tell though! Also got a bit freaked out the other morning as the sun shone through the window as I dozed and hit my reaura'd skin! So sleeping with curtains closed from now on |
What kind of skin do you have Malinky? My ReAura is on its way and I'm just wondering what to expect the first couple weeks of use. |
I am so glad yall are reporting your progress, I'd love to get this machine, when and if it ever is available in the U.S. |
I'm hoping my results are as good as some of the ones I've seen online. Plus photoqueen said it was the best gadget he has ever used and he has tried a bunch of things. |

well, second thought.. I dont buy her reults, the difference in ligthing is way too much.. I hope she is not an eds member as I dont mean to be rude to her!!! |
I don't know if she is a member or not but go look at her video entries and you can tell that she is not a professional- meaning this is not her profession. I don't mean this in a mean or rude way just that I think she is for real. I hope you get what I'm saying but this is just my opinion. |
yes, I saw her video and her skin looks even better in it than in the after photos... what I am skeptic about is the before pix which were taken in dim light with a shade on her face and all the after pix and the video is taken in a very bright light and light on it's own can flush out a lot of wrinkles..
Photoqueen here on eds also has good things to say about this laser so I am sure it works... to what extent? I ll wait for more reviews from members of eds with no motive promoting it... a lot of people with blogs have motives, not saying in particular regarding glam40plus, but just in general..
I wanted to mention the difference in lighting in her before n after photos as some eds members are going gaga over this device after seeing her photos... I mean no disrespect to anyone but when someone puts her/his photos on a blog, they open themselves not only to compliments but also to criticism... |
I don't have any motive for promoting it, I bought it myself with my hard earned money.
The proof to me, was my partner saying, your skin looks amazing what have you been using and then asking if they can use it.
I am an expert in this area, and this device works, but you have to be realistic, if you are heavily lined it won't removed wrinkles, you would need the deep fraxel treatment, but as I am lucky and don't have any deep lines the device has made my skin look radiant, tight, fresh and the slight sun pigmentation has gone, so for me, it is one of the key devices in my tool kit.

I may just say to heck with expensive creams and serums and start saving up for this device, whether it's released in the U.S. or not. My Mother-in-law's in England and it's tempting to tell her to ship one over.
After spending major $ on Lifeline and AnteAge, that's nearly half the cost of the ReAura. |

Mine cost $1438 US dollars or 889 pounds and that is with 2 extra bottles of aftercare complex. I am going to use the AnteAge products instead. My husband let the sales girls talk him into buying more of the aftercare complex when what I really wanted was more of the laser performance gel.
Photoqueen, do you know how long the 2oz. performance gel last? I don't think you use that much but I don't want to run out before the 8 week series is finished. Thanks for your help |
The gel has lasted me 4 months of use, it is very concentrated and you don't need a lot, in fact the finer the layer of gel, the easier the treatment.
