I had 2 samples of Revision Skincare Nectifirm that I got from my med/spa and I love it. It does smooth away fine lines but that is all I have right now to try it on.
I see that EDS carries it. It soaks in well, not overly greasy and hydrates. |
This might sound insane, but if you slap your neck and jaw line with the back of your hands for a minute after you apply your creams, its amazing the difference it makes. Its simple, free, and shocking at the tightening! |

Interesting! But I can only imagine what my husband would say to me if he caught me doing this. He already makes fun of me when he catches me doing my facial exercises. ![Laughing](images/smiles/lol.gif) |
I do it for about ten seconds, I know I put a minute, but really no one can catch me, I do it so fast, and it really does make a difference!
If hubby caught me, I'd just tell him its an ancient beauty treatment guaranteed to make me look like Sophia Loren, I am sure I'd hear him laughing all the way through the house! |

Ha, will do my best!
I did notice after using the Revision neck cream that my neck was red for quite a bit, interesting! |

LOL. You are sounding like me, the older I get the less I care about what others think about what I do as long as I am not harming anyone or thing! (no matter how strange it may seem) ![Laughing](images/smiles/lol.gif) |

Well, my husband is very used to me doing silly things. He calls me his Lucielle Ball. So I guess slapping myself around really shouldn't surprise him. |

He knows better. After all...I AM Italian, and I have my connections should he step out of line.
Tiny, thanks so much for this tightening technique. I'll be starting it today and let you know how it works out. |

Tiny....I do believe what you say about the neck slapping. A long time ago I read that patting all over the face a couple of seconds every day helps to firm up the muscles beneath and helps with sagging skin. I forgot all about that until I read your post about the neck slapping. Now that I'm much older I may try the face patting as well. |
now hubbys going to committ me when he not only see me slapping my neck with the back of my hands, but giving my face a good go at it as well ![Dancing](images/smiles/eusa_dance.gif) |

Hi marina....I'm using Nia24 on my neck every night. I like it, but maybe there's something better...I don't know. The neck area is so hard to control. I do wish that Dr.J would formulate a neck cream. |

Back to trying it again, but GENTLY!
I use any leftover creams/serums or those that may be a bit too heavy for my face on my neck since it seems to be drier there and that works pretty well too. |

I don't know if I should start a new thread but now that we have the neck firming covered, does anyone know what the heck to do about chicken skin on the neck? It's very strange. I just noticed it in the last few days. It's right where an Adams apple should be if you had one. Moisturizer helps but only for a few minutes. Retinol? Copper? Ach. It's driving me nuts. Just when I got the face looking good, this pops up. I was always so focused on the face I kept forgetting about the neck. |
I know exactly the area you are referring to. I noticed this about a year ago when I was 48. It was more noticeable because I put a standup hand mirror on my kithen table to do my makeup one day instead of using the bathroom mirror like I normally do. So I have to tilt my head down to use the smaller standup mirror, and when I did, that's when I first saw it...that wrinkly bit of skin where that turkey waddle would be if I had one. I remember thnking, "What the heck it THAT?!?"
Time to get to slappin'! ![Razz](images/smiles/razz.gif) |

LOL. This is actually taught (at least was) as part of esty training in Cosmetology classes to get your license.
Even though it may have been tempting at times (to slap hard), we were taught to "slap" gently! ![Bad Grin](images/smiles/badgrin.gif) |

Well..it's a comfort that I'm not alone at least. "what the heck is that" was exactly what I said except I didn't use the word heck. I tried retinols but they were too strong for my neck even though I have rhino skin on my face. One thing I may try is the nia cleansing scrub. That stuff really worked well on my chest. One of these days I'll throw caution to the wind and try skin signals. Could someone tell dr J to get cracking on a neck cream. Right now I refuse to face time anyone. |
I am still laughing on Annies and 50 shades of grey!
Marina why can't you just use the serum if you already have it? |

LOL I bet I know what you said instead of Heck. I say to that to myself every morning these days.I slap on whatever stuff I have lying around that for whatever reason I don't use on my face. However I am always looking for a good neck ceam. Nothing worse than these women that have perfect faces and necks that look like a christmas turkey. |
