You are welcome! This is the advice I gave my twenty-three yr. old daughter. And ofcoarse as bullet pointed out sunscreen and a good skincare regimen are vital.
The main thing I tell her, and now you is to enjoy your youth. My generation really did a number on you all. We are afraid of aging, so everything on tv and print media is "anti-aging". Now there are tons of very young people out there is their late teens and twenties writing posts about looking old and seeing lines and wrinkles. The best thing you can do for youself is to make healthy eating, exercise and skincare a lifestyle habit. Then once it becomes second nature to you, you can reap the rewards as you get older. Good luck to you! |

Yep A, C and SS best plan for keeping skin in good shape, and again enjoy!!! |
Is C good in your 20's? I keep hearing when you turn 40! well of course I am long past 40, but thought was not needed at all earlier, or is that a myth |
Well, it's an antioxidant, helps protect from the sun and stimulates collagen, I'd think it'd be a great thing to include at any age. (It also lightens and is good for things like rosacea.) |

I just don't think it is too early (20 on) to add in C, it also has sun protection advantages!
Not replacing SS but we take all the help we can get! |

Hi, I over-exercised all my life. Now, I'm facing hip replacement surgery in July. I thought pushing myself to be as healthy, fit, and slim as I could be was a good thing. It is, but not to the extent I was doing it. Add to the mix, I have cellulite like you wouldn't believe, even though I am underweight and exercise properly.
I had been bulimic for years trying to be thin (which I was already!). That resulted in osteoporosis. Thank goodness I am past that now, and with medication (I no longer have to take), I've reversed my osteoporosis.
Also, I have done way too many peels on my face. Some were done at the dr's office for acne and many, many at home. Again, OVERdone.
Wow, I sound like a real mess, don't I? Well, I'm learning to not be so hard on myself, but it's a lifelong habit to break. I believe just being kind to yourself, having a positive attitude, and doing things in moderation is an important way to live your life. |
