I developed Breast Cancer while taking Embrel for Rheumatoid arthirtis. People taking embrel are known to develope solid tumors but doctors are not reporting it to the FDA as they should so we do not know how many people develope cancer while taking EMBREL.
I know several doctors who told me that they did not know they were suppose to report it. These are oncologist who diagnosis prostate cancer and lung cancer. Please be careful if taking Embrel. By the way it did help my Arthritis but the side effect were not worth it. |

I am so sorry, my husband has rheumatoid arthritis and was diagnosed nearly 30 years ago, he is 55 now.
We don't have the drug you are talking about here yet.
I know the pain of the arthritis without the added horror of the cancer. Truly I am sorry and I hope they can help you. |

| I'm glad that I saw this thread. My mother has RA and is thinking of taking either this drug or Humira. |
