Found this cheap hand-held device on Ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/DIY-Micro-Led-Bio-Microcurrent-Home-Use-Machine-R-11A-/261147017121?pt=UK_Health_Beauty_Skincare_PP&hash=item3ccd933fa1
It has an LED component too - but the microcurrent specifications look good:
Specifications:
Principles: LED, Bio Micro current
Power: DC 12V 1A
LED: Red Light (wavelength: 640nm)
Yellow Light (wavelength: 590nm)
Blue light (wavelength: 470nm)
Bio Micro current: Output +- 18V
Current indicator lamp: First phase: slight current 50uA
Second phase: weak current 100uA
Third phase: medium current 250uA
Forth phase: strong current 500uA
Output wave line: Square
Product Size: 145*45*37mm
Weight: 185g
Given that the NuFace has output at 500uA and uses a square wave (the same as this device) - it might be a cheap alternative. |
