are you serious??? I like salmon so no problem for me just eating salmon for 3 days! I did atkins years ago for months so I can def do a 3 day salmon marathon... where can I find detail on this diet? Lets see if I can look 21 again! lol Thanks

Very Happy daler here is the 3-Day Facelift Diet:

Quote:
Dr. Perricone's Three Day Nutritional Face Lift™

Is there a facelift in your fridge?

The answer is "YES" if you follow Dr. Perricone's Three Day Nutritional Face Lift™

To make it simple, follow this plan for three days. If you feel you need a change from all the salmon, you may substitute poultry or tofu - but remember the special essential fatty acids and antioxidants in salmon give skin a remarkable suppleness, radiance and youthful glow. To learn more, read The Perricone Prescription (http://www.amazon.com/Perricone-Prescription-Physicians-Program-Rejuvenation/dp/B000OFOIWM/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1343336358&sr=1-1), which contains a wonderful 28-Day Meal Plan, as well as a 3-Day Meal Plan, with a wide variety of delicious foods as well as outstanding, yet easy to prepare recipes.

The promise of a visible difference in your looks in just three days may seem too good to be true. But if you eat the wrinkle-free way for even a short period of time, you will experience dramatic changes, not only in how you look, but how you feel. I recommend the Three Day Nutritional Face-lift™ as the perfect way to jumpstart the 28-Day Plan – this will allow you to see a drop in weight and visible results in your skin right away.

Three-Day Nutritional Face-lift™ aids in the elimination of puffiness, increases contours, firms jaw line, etc. You must eat salmon twice a day for the ideal effects of the DMAE, astaxanthin and the essential fatty acids in the salmon to take effect. This will increase radiance, glow and firmness to the skin. Wild Alaskan Salmon is far superior to farm-raised salmon. For convenient online access to the best wild Alaskan salmon, organic berries and more we recommend Vital Choice Seafood (www.VitalChoice.com)

If you do not eat salmon, go right to the 28-Day Plan (http://www.perriconemd.com/display.do?ruleID=101323&itemID=5&itemType=LANDING) – although you will not see the dramatic results in the first three days as you will by using the Three-Day Nutritional Face-lift™.

SHOPPING LIST

Organic, cage-free eggs
Blueberries, raspberries or mixed berries - fresh
Cantaloupe
Oatmeal
Kiwi fruit
Salmon
Turkey breast
Romaine lettuce or dark leafy greens
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Lemons
Apples
Pears
Plain Yogurt
Hazelnuts, walnuts or almonds.
Bright green vegetables such as asparagus, broccoli, spinach
Fresh spring water

Breakfast

3 egg omelet and/or 4-6 oz. grilled salmon. I do not recommend smoked salmon or lox on the three-day diet because of the salt intake.
˝ cup cooked oatmeal (not instant). Cooked oatmeal is a great source of fiber, low glycemic carbohydrates.
2” wedge of cantaloupe or 1/3 cup fresh berries. Cantaloupe is very hydrating to the skin and contains important antioxidants - blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries are high in antioxidants.
No Juice, No Coffee or Toast. If you normally drink large amounts of coffee, drink black or green tea to prevent caffeine withdrawal.
8 - 12 oz. spring water.

Lunch

4-6 oz. grilled salmon. Option: you can also use canned salmon and mix a little mayo and fresh squeezed lemon.
2 cups green salad made with romaine lettuce or other dark leafy greens. Dressing: extra virgin olive oil and fresh squeezed lemon to taste.
1 kiwi fruit or cantaloupe and berries as above.
8 – 12 oz. spring water.

Snack

1 apple
2 oz. slice of turkey breast or 6 oz. plain yogurt.
Small handful of hazelnuts, walnuts or almonds. Great source of fatty acids and folic acid.

4-6 oz. grilled salmon.
Green Salad as described above.
˝ cup steamed veggies. Especially asparagus, broccoli, spinach, etc. NO root vegetables, such as potatoes, carrots, beets, parsnips, etc.

Wait a second, Panoslydios you talk about scams and then you mention fruitarian and breatherian. Its funny as a lot of the so called famous fruitarians and breatherians that I know of have all been questioned at times and proved to be anything but those in essence. There’s little evidence that a person can survive on just breath, in fact there are more studies to suggest that without water the body dies within a few days, so how the hell did you come up with that one may I ask? Seriously though I’m always worried as my younger sister at one point during the 80’s fell into a crowd that promoted such things and made herself desperately ill trying to follow it all. In my mind these are really dangerous.

For what its worth, I also don’t think that the fruitarian and breatherians that I know of look wonderful or live in harmony with nature? For example we know too much fruit can weaken tooth enamel (just ask any dentist).

Pineapple is the best thing to apply to face.It eats the dead cells like nothing else. You cant beat the live enzymes of pineapple.Imaigne what happens ingesting the stuff-such a blood purifier.Plus it cant be sprayed so much chemically.

But you never seem to learn and trust people and words like ''top 10 universities'' ''top nutritionist''.All these dudes they are going to age before their eyes because they couldnt live in harmony with nature.

I suggest all these diets are 100% scam .All the plump you get from this diet is just your body trying to detox the fish oil giving the illusion of better skin.

Panoslydios – I think you have a strange concept of nutrition moreso than others. For what its worth, pineapples are extremely high in sugars, and too much like anything can have a disasterous effect. The tribes that often live on pineapples and coconuts have done so for a very prolonged period of time, and so their genes etc have grown accustomed to that food etc and the environment in which they live are often high in heat so the sugar burns off faster than say here in the Western world. The 200 types of sugars that the human body is designed to live on is actually questionable and there is insufficient data to say that the body can live on sugars alone. So I think that you are still also on your way to learning based on those comments.

panoslydios wrote:
If you believe fish is human food, then i suggest by now your lymph glands are clogged from fish protein and you better also do some de-worming.

There are so many tribes that lived only on pineapples and coconuts suggesting that glycemic index of fruits and the notion that they affect human health in a bad way is a scam.

Human body is designed to live on 200+type of sugars.

Your nutritionist is still on her way to learning. Wink

Sounds you have fell for a scam.

Iodine copmetes chloride so the amount of iodine you get from salt is useless.
Also salt is one of the first reasons of calcification in blood vessels.

If you want better health throw all the table salt to the trash bin.

Salt or sodium is also an essential mineral that's needed to make up our cells, and so this is just complete and utter nonsense what's being pedalled here about salt - I have a hard time understanding how no one is questioning Panoslydios statements about living on breath alone, and now avoiding salt. Sure processed salt is no good but to say all salt is something that the body has a difficult time to detox is madness.

You know back in the 80's a family member fell in with a crowd who talked this kind of stuff and she made herself seriously ill, we were all worried about her for ages after that, but thank God she came to her senses. The stuff that's being portrayed here is just plain crazy. Whilst I'm up for having an open mind, I'm not up for throwing baby out with bathwater and using plain old crazy tactics here to get a point across. Breatharians and only eating pineapple are dangerous recommendations to follow without getting proper advice from a qualified professional not someone who thinks you will be better for it on the net and hiding behind a screen name. The fact that they themselves are too skinny should start the warning sirens in your minds!

Also a little while ago there was a newspaper article by a qualified MD who said that many patients he was seeing had switched to a non-meat kind of diet and became sicker as a result of making that transition too quickly. He said that their stomachs had eaten that kind of food for sustained periods of time, so they had high stomach acids production and the sudden withdrawal of meat meant that the stomach acids had nothing to work with and so started damaging the insides of the people doing that - so please people approach these suggestions with caution and do your own research.

Ok pano, I don't eat like you do and I'm sure I never will. You are entitled to your own opinion and eating habits/way. I have a problem with you saying that anyone that doesn't follow your way of life is somehow a victim, brainwashed, fruitcake whatever. We are all entitled to eat how we see fit and I'm sorry but it probably won't fit into your idea of a perfect diet. By you constantly slamming the way others chose to live their lives it doesn't tend to win people over to your side of thinking.

Oooh pleeeezzeeee – will you stop with this nonsense. Even if someone was going to live like that, they wouldn’t be able to have a family, full time job etc. Living with just what the earth provides (if you could find such organic produce without any chemical preservatives etc) – is a great idea, but its just not practical nowadays. You got to be realistic here. Besides, fruits are not the best choice, its already been said to you many times because of the high sugar content. Now you may argue that it is indeed a natural sugar – but nonetheless it’s a sugar and whether natural or chemical it stuffs up the bods internal chemistry.

I really would like to know where you think you learned this information because a large amount of it is highly incorrect Panoslydios but I suspect the fact that you haven’t been able to answer any of the questions put to you already seems to suggest you are on a mission to speak without thought so be it!

panoslydios wrote:
Today i took the berries straight from the bush at morning, then took some figs and juice some oranges(lots of them!!!!).

Ugh how can you compare dead stuff to this pick hand fruits!!!!

Absorbed the sun and travel with bike while eating prana. I am 100% percent sure that diet is the hugest scam of all .It was just man that never wanted to live on what nature gives but want to play it more important than nature and intelligent thus killing animals and farming the land. While EVERYTHING CAN COME FROM THE TREE!!!Otherwise someone who was born in a place with no humans, having no will(or for that matter knowledge ) to kill/hunt or no knowledge to farm vegetables, according to you he/she would die!!!!But thats not the case since the instict would be to eat from fruit trees.

So remember Spirit
Sun
Air
Clean Water
Fruits
Herbs

Thats should be the real food pyramid!!!!

I go back and forth between eating "Perricone" style - lots of salmon, organic eggs, organic greens, nuts, yogurt, minimal carbs except for quinoa or brown rice. When I eat this way I always look and feel better. Last summer my accupuncturist suggested eating more animal organs. Once I added organic liver and bone marrow to my diet in addition to the Perricone style, my health and skin further improved.
