I don’t think if the lines are from squinting that exercises should be your focus, but instead remodeling agents/skincare. You see lines are usually damaged tissue. Whilst you recognize these are from squinting its because the skin is damaged that the lines remain or are visible. Kids smile and pull faces and then when they stop their skin snaps back and there are no traces of the lines. When you have severe sun damage or have done an expression a million times, it leaves a trace in the skin, but that is the skin not the muscles. I’m not so convinced from what I read that lower lid exercises are actually a good thing. Yes I do them, but I’m in my 60s and have had severe bags due to general health conditions and plain old age, but someone in their 20s or 30s I think can sometimes make things worse. I know that goes against whats said by the experts – but I’ve read so many youngsters doing lower lid exercises and getting horrible results that it makes me weary. |
