Has anyone been able to get rid of sunspots?
If yes, what did you use?
Thanks for your time:)

I do agree that TCA is a good option for you. Just take it slow and easy, to minimize any irritation as much as possible.
I also suggest that you conceder a few other things to help with the red scar issues.
One: add in some topical Antioxidants. I personally Like Rooibos Green Tea applied once or twice daily. That will help the red spots a lot, and can prevent the skin from forming new ones, or at least help them to fade faster.
If you want a recipe let me know, it’s SUPER easy to make, or buy it here.
http://www.ifeelprettyproducts.com/dmae_antioxidants.htm get the Antioxidant mist only if that’s all you want. Paula’s choice makes a good one also, but it does not have the tea – which really seems to help a lot with the redness.
Diannna Yvoone used to carry one also, and still may.
I personally really do recommend a copper serum, it will help heal any red spots much faster, and strengthen the skin, to help lessen the depth of future ones.
A mild daily exfoliate, either chemical or manual, or a daily use micro fiber cloth to help speed cell turnover, again fading any spots faster.
Emu oil, a great ant-inflammatory and will help heal any “bad spots” also. Excellent when used with acids.
Take a good mult vitamin, and consider MSM as a supplement, it does so much for the skin, and will help heal any issues faster. |

Cherisse - I'm not an expert on copper so I really can't say if those would work for sunspots. Exfol cream would be good exfoliation but it's been years since I used Trireduction. I do think SuperCP may not be strong enough for your sunspots ... dunno.
I just got Dream Eye Lift and Dream Face Lift. They both feel VERY refreshing but I don't notice any real "lift" ... but it's got caffeine, CoQ10, vitamins, DMAE ... good stuff. Got the cleanser, scrub, day lotion (w/ SPF 30) and toner for my hubby. He's really liking it ... manly scent recommended by Denise's hubby.
Here's my ritual (... which is frightening since I'm probably doing something wrong and will get flamed).
italics are things I switch off.
a.m.
Cleanse (Oils of Aloha, Rose Hip Oil blend, etc.)
ELS serum (repair lipid barrier)
Mandelic acid or Exfol cream
PSF cranberry eye lift
Wait 30 min
Candessence Triple C serum
Candessence 6% DMAE (SAS says that I don't need to wait after DMAE)
Dream Eye Lift
Carekate's pearl cream then sometimes a heavier cream like below
Dream Face Lift, SAS CoffeeBerry Cream, Chrysalyx
p.m.
cleanse
Epidermx II
DMAE
creams (above or Radiance Souffle, Guerlain's Midnight Secret, Nuxe Creme Nirvanesque).
Edelweiss Serum
Ystheal or Diacnel
wait 30 minutes
SuperCP serum all over, SuperCOP 2X on sunspots
CP Night Eyes
It sounds bad but the only things that are true staples are DMAE and Vitamin C. Sometimes I skip the others. Waiting 30 min isn't a big deal either since I just don't do everything in one sitting. |

Sunspots\liver spots are oxidized fat within the skin. Melanin inhibitors like arbutin and other lightening products will not affect them because they are not melanin. Exfoliants like Vit C, AHAs and retinoids may affect them but may be more or less effective depending upon how deep in your skin they are.
Freckles and pigmentation are excess melanin in the skin. Melanin inhibitors may affect these by blocking the production of melanin. Exfoliators may also affect them by sloughing them off the epidermis if they are close to the surface of the skin.
Supplementation may assist both by both preventing further oxidation of fat within the skin. Assisting the skins renewal cycle and promoting normal cell function rather than excess melanin production. |
