I wish a booklet had been included in the kit. I drew my own diagrams and boy do they look silly. I really don't want to watch the DVD every time I use the ball. I am trying to memorize the routine. |

I did get the PDF booklet and it is so worth it, in my opinion. I really feel like anyone considering purchasing the kit should just consider the price $75 instead of $65 and buy the booklet, because it really should have been included.
I didn't realize that after you press on a point and hold, you are supposed to hold the same pressure as you roll to the next place. She used some wording in the DVD that made me think you were supposed to lighten the pressure, but the booklet states several times that you keep the pressure. So that was very helpful to me because apparently I was doing the whole routine wrong.
I also like the shorter workouts and there is more detailed work for the eye area and mouth. Some of the mouth routines have you put your fingers in your mouth and it kinda reminds me of resistance training. |

I keep the same pressure on the ball when I am pressing or moving it. I just assumed that is what you were supposed to do. Thank you for clarifying that for me. |

I agree that it should be included in the kit, and hey who knows maybe when they read this they’ll do so. I do think the book is good, but also there are some things in the book that I can’t get my head round, so suppose its one of those things some will love it, and some like me will be a bit annoyed by it. You weren’t the only one doing it wrong though, because they don’t show the models throughout the whole thing but keep switching and have her walking about its easy to overlook about the pressing and holding bit. Thought you only did Facercise – that’s got no fingers in mouth!

Ryan, thank you for clearing that up. I was lightening the pressure, that's what I thought she meant.
For those following the dvd, I just go to chapters and go to the last frame (the mouth). From there, I fast forward to where she starts on the other side of the face. Most times I am ahead of her and finish earlier. Then I just rewind the dvd back to the beginning of the second part. It makes it go much faster since she does less talking in that part. |

Swissmom, that's a great idea. Haha, I don't know why I didn't think of that.
Theresa, I do have Facercise, but it's my understanding that some of the resistance programs have you put fingers in the mouth; that's why I thought this may possibly be similar. I haven't tried those mouth exercises yet though.
I did try the extra eye routines. The one for under the eyes is kind of awkward, but I like the one for the bone right under the eyebrow; I can really feel the lift there.
I think I'm going to like this program! |

What's the diameter of these Yamuna facial balls? I'm trying to find a good substitute that will be cheaper. |

Hi ladies,
Some of you mentioned that there was a Yamuna pdf with more exercises/information in it; if so, can someone pm me with a link? I think it was supposed to cost $10. I'll pay anyone for a copy, too. Thanks!

I just thought I would share my results. I did order the video, but only watched part of it once. I emailed the company and they sent me a PDF of their written instructions which I printed off and really like as they have a 5 minute, 15 minute and 30 minute option.
It does lift my face. To be specific, as oddly as it may seem, it lifts the sides of my eyes up. It also smooths the lines around my mouth and the N/L area. It lifts the corners of my mouth up, which I hadn't even realized were sagging until they moved back up. The jawline lifts also.
I usually do this at night and Tanaka massage in the morning. The effect of the Tanaka massage seems to be enhanced by doing Yamuna the night before.
I haven't done the 30 minute option, just the five and fifteen minute. |

I have gotten several emails concerning the balls that I use for this program and I thought it might be helpful to post a picture of the actual ball that comes with the program and the other one I use. I am continuing to do this program while in the bed in the morning....nice relaxing wake up. It does open up the forehead and relax the face. The one on the bottom is the Yamuna ball and the other one is a yoga ball I had.

I bumped this photo up from a post I did a long time ago on this thread. |

I just emailed Yumana and the PDF book for the Face Saver has been discontinued.
Does anyone have a copy they don't want? |

After reading about it here, I sent them an email on Tuesday, inquiring about the PDF and got the following reply...
"Thank you for your email.
The Save Your Face PDF file is available for the purchase price of $10.00
Let me know if you wish to purchase this manual."
It seems to me that $10 to have a PDF sent to my email is a bit extreme. |

OK, I'm confused. Why would they tell me the PDF book is discontinued and someone else it's available for $10? What email address did you use? |

Robbi don't be demotivated, I had exactly the same thing when I first contacted them about the pdf booklet, and didn't give up and I'm glad I didn't. It is worth the money I promise. Get back in contact and point them to EDS. I can't see them no longer selling the book at all - but I do know first times I tried to reach them and speak about it they kind of said to me that it wasn't available so don't give up hope. I also got told they were doing a serum, and then there was an email about a serum they were doing to coincide with the workout, and I don't know if it ever was made but I got tired of fighting for answers so just gave up on it. |

Hi TheresaMary, I bought the Yamuna balls awhile ago but didn't use them that much because the routine took too long. Do you think you still get good results if you just do the 5 minute session that is in the PDF. I just don't want to invest more money in something I won't use because of time constraints. I realize you would/should get better results if you do the long program. I guess my question is whether you think I would get any results if I just willing to do 5 or 10 minutes. Also is the book well written and easy to follow? Thanks |

Cookie,
not TheresaMary,
but I recently resurrected my old Yamuna balls and book - it is reasonably well written, the pictures could have been a bit better but they are good enough to do the program.
I am trying to do a 5 min one, then specific part for neck (front and back), plus eye area.
It takes a bit more time (15 min), but I am still learning. I do it before going to bed and it feels good and relaxing. Imho it is very important to do bone work and esp. work on the neck area.
