Pangea shower gels are on sale right now! woohoo! Will stock up.
On another note- Just wanted to mention that the Pangea facial scrub is the best I have ever used. I can really tell right now with this winter weather that the scrub is exfoliating all of my dry skin and leaving it nice and smooth. It's worth every penny- not to mention that the ethics of the company are wonderful. They support organic and fair trade, and are all cruelty-free (no testing on poor animals!) |

Hey guys, so I know you are talking about Pangea cleanser and toners but I searched the forum and thought this was the best place to put it.
I wanted to put my two cents in on the Pangea Balancing Oil himalayian geranium & pomegranate one. Ingredients looked so good to me but let me tell you, it destroyed my skin, and I mean ruined it. I had perfect little cute cheeks acne-free. I did have some cystic acne on my chin and forehead but nothing as bad as what I got from using this product. This was around the time I switched my makeup and skin care products over to natural ones so it took me a while (about 3 months) to eliminate and figure out what was causing my really bad cystic acne on my cheeks. I contacted the company and it turns out one of the owners had the same problem and there were many similar complaints as mine but neglected to mention that people with a tendency for cystic acne should not use their product. That is the least they could have done is put a caution out. I have scars on my cheeks now from it and I will never buy from them again! Not a very honest company. Has anyone here had this problem from this particular product? I still wonder what it was in that product that was causing the problem. Any ideas?? |

That sounds very distressing, pure22. I am wondering if it might have been the rosehip oil? It's one of those that many find helps their acne while others find it can aggravate it... Here's the ingredient listing:
Pangea Organics Balancing Oil
Ingredients: Rosa canina (Organic Rose Hip) Fruit Oil, Argania spinosa (Organic Argan) Oil, Simmondsia chinensis (Organic Jojoba) Oil, Butyrospermum parkii (Liquid Shea) Butter, Calophyllum tacamahaca (Organic Tamanu) Oil, Punica granatum (Organic Pomegranate) Seed Oil, Oenothera biennis (Organic Evening Primrose) Oil, Borago officinalis (Organic Borage) Oil, Squalane, Mixed Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Punica granatum (Organic Pomegranate) Extract, Camellia sinensis (Organic Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Rosa gallica (Organic French Rose) Extract, Pelargonium graveolens (Wildcrafted Himalayan Geranium) Oil*, Pelargonium graveolens (Organic Geranium) Oil*, Helichrysum italicum (Organic Helichrysum) Oil*, Rosa damascena (Rose Otto) Oil*
There's a bit more discussion on rosehip here:

Which of the Pangea toners is good?
I just bought the Lime one and it seems nice.
Better price than Caudalie anyways.
But I think I might be better with something that is alcohol free.
I also got the 3 different PSF toners and those seem good.
I have combination skin w oily t-zone. |

Maybe it is the Rosehip oil that made me break out but I find it so weird how some people react and others don't. Another idea might be the quality of the oil and if there were pesticides involved??? |
