Since I have dry/sensitive skin, they sent me cleansing milk, white algea mask, apc, and the eye lip cream (sorry, too lazy to look up the full name). They all came in little tiny tubes. I just tried the cleansing milk tonight. I probably have enough left for one more use. Hopefully I will know after 2 uses if it will dry me out or make my dermatitis flareup.
I plan on trying the apc next. I am trying one product at a time so in case I have a reaction, I would know which one is the culprit. |

thanks for the initial review! can't wait to see what you think of the rest of the products - i'm especially interested in what the eye/lip is like as a lip balm/treatment . . . |

I went to their website and requested samples and they sent me the ocean cleanser, atmosphere protection cream and white/red algae mask. The cleanser was great but alittle too drying for this time of year. I also enjoyed the red algae mask, so much so I ordered a full size product. I also ordered the sensitive skin travel kit. I just got this a few days ago so it's too soon to give an overall review, but I will say that I like the eyes/lip cream!! |

just to make sure i reach as many people as i can, i'm reposting this on as many threads as i can:
good news, all. avalange and i have arranged a d*scount with Osea for EDS members atwww.oseaskin.com. i am using the * because i hate the idea of people abusing our forum for d*scount codes that have been given in good faith to us. i apologise to those who have already ordered (we made it happen as soon as we could) but, if you've fallen in love with the products as much as i already have, you'll be ordering again.
many have been asking me oodles of questions that i have been doing my damnedest to answer. it is actually better to keep this on the forum and in the threads so *everyone* can answer (since i haven't used all the products and will not go near the Atmosperic Cream due to my reactions with shea). i love love love everything i've tried from them though. and, truly, avalange is the expert extraordinaire! |

i'm curious about what the eyes and lips does for lips. can you use it directly on your lips (rather than around) to help with dry lips?
avalange - is it ok if i use your name with osea to ask for samples, b/c that would be great (just in case i'm sensitive to any of the ingredients) |
sark, just give them my name, Lauren, and make sure to ask for Melissa. She knows me from way back!
As far as what eyes and lip does for the lips, m. For me, it plumps them up a bit, definitely moistuizes them, leaves them with a fetching, satiny glow. I just pat it all around my lip area and on my orbital bone--it is very toning for the area around the eyes. it doesn't sit on the skin, but is absorbed. hth!

Thanks avalange and la vie en rose! =) You've certainly sparked a new obsession for me. Sigh...being the weak-willed me that I am, I'm now dying to try the Ocean cleanser, eye and lip cream, white algae mask and one of the creams (which will be good for me you think?. I adore the clean and simple of concept...incidentally, I'm trying to pare down my skin care routine while still keeping my Vit C/retinoids and this line sounds just about perfect. I wonder though if they ship overseas and if they do, how high will the shipping cost be? Thanks again for the heads-up sweeties! |

Hi!
I am, I think, Osea's most dedicated customer... I've used it for 14 years now, and it is the ONLY skincare line that I've ever been consistent with. I can say that the eyes and lips cream is one of the best creams on the market--I keep it in my bag at all times. I mostly love using it over the hydrating oil after I go swimming--it really plumps up the eye area and leaves it looking satiny, not shiny. It's the only combination that really gets rid of the red marks around my eyes after I swim with goggles. I also use the advanced protection cream over my retinol cream (currently Eluage) at night, and it is truly wonderful. The texture does take some getting used to, but it is similar to la mer's but without all those bogus ingredients. My friends buy advanced protection cream in bulk, which I think is crazy--I just ration it.
My ultimate favorite product that I could never live without, though, is the white alge mask. I use it once a week, and it gives me the same effects as with Valmont Renewing pack, but it is half the price. If you were going to try osea, and you have normal skin, I'd get:
--cleansing milk
--small cleansing mud (once a week before hydrating mask)
--white alge mask
--advanced protection cream--
I asked the company and they said you can use apc in lieu of atmosphere protection cream (my SO uses my old bottle) during the day, as well--but I use sunscreen (Epicuren).
If only osea made an amazing sunscreen and a retinol product, I'd be a true, dyed in the wool osea devotee. But I use other things, too.
What I especially love about them is that they do not make false or unnatural claims, and they are just trying to offer the most active natural ingredients at (kind-of) affordable prices.
I am a testament to these products though--people always think I'm in my early 20s, and I'm almost 31! but, obsessively trying to stave off any signs of aging nevertheless... This forum isn't helping me stick to one skincare brand AT ALL!

p.s. I also use SC's CE Ferulic, for a couple of years now, and I find it works well with the osea regime. |

Hi kez,
There is no added fragrance to these products, although they do have their own natural scents, since they include essential oils. hth!
