I just started using Dr. H's products, but I think my skin is responding well!
I have dryish skin and now when I wake up in the morning, my skin doesn't feel at all dry. Any of y'all try the Regnerating Serum/Reg. day cream? |

my best results with many lines is to try the products (Which is why i love samples) and let each do what they can for you.
i combine serums from one with creams from the other
works a treat |

I seriously prefer the package of Jurlique more. And for me, the two lines have different idea of their products although they are both based on pure herbal skincare.
But in the place where I live, Jurlique is obviously much more expensive. So I gave up Jurlique's best selling rose body oil and bought Dr. H's. |

Interesting trend. I found Dr H products to be quite irritating, and in particular the smell seemed strong. Also on skindeep database they ranked frequently high in terms of unhealthy chemicals. Jurlique can smell terrible but I use their hand cream (great), herbal recovery gel (light and moisturizing, no irritation), the daily scrub (don't buy it, it does NOTHING), and the clarifying day cream (light and non irritating), the rose mist (don't buy it, it stinks and the spray method of application is awful and uneven), the balancing day cream (awesome!!!) and the baby moisturizer (awesome awesome awesome for my 2 month old), as well as the baby barrier cream (gentle but not very effective, no zinc oxide, no barrier really). |

I love dr huschka but jurlique is more easily accessible in Australia, I'm not a huge fan of Jurlique though (just to basic for me) so I dont use it. I generally purchase dr hauschka off ebay and love there rosehip oil products. |

I used both and my preference is for Jurlique, simply as I found the serum and creams nicer. the wrinkle softener (is a terrible name but hey) is a lovely light, nice smelling moisturiser. I also love their gel serum (think its call botanical gel). Sinks right in. Wasn't mad about their cleanser I tried nor the eye cream but everything else is quite lovely. Both are incredibly pricey though. I think both should really perk up their packaging too as both Dr H and J packaging is a little boring! |

Never used DH but can confirm that J is basic stuff just packaged very nicely with a high price tag. I used to use their products but never repurchased because aside from the packaging it doesn't offer anything special or even very effective. they use he same base creams you'll find in any chemist for $4.99, squeeze in a few botanicals and call it ,natures purest skincare. Yeah right! |

That has been my observation as well, when reading the ingredient lists nothing special really jumps out and the cleansing exfoliant they sell not only smells funny but dosent really do much. I'll stick with Dr. Hauschka. |

Yep I thought it was a grainy slimy mess that resembled my bathroom cleaner without the ability to remove anything really.... I did like the rose water but have since been able to purchase it in Coles for $2.50...
They were ok back in 1995 when the only alternative was 8hr cream and mineral oil but frankly they are below par now. Aesop creates a much nicer product at the same price point. |

Good to hear I'm not the only one that noticed this with the cleansing exfoliant. Your right about it not removing anything eaither it just went on and dint do much. |

Dr. Hauskcha is much better than Julique. At least your skin feel good when using DH. Julique doesn't worth the price. |

I prefer Dr. H to J overall as far as the line goes but I do not use all of their products entirely. I have not really been impressed with Jurelique, just okay.
Dr. H has a few products that are my staple items that I have been using thru the years and will continue to such as their toners, cleansing cream, day moisturizers and rejuvenating masks. |

Have used many products from Jurlique, including sprays, neck serum, face serum, and moisturizers. Prefer Dr. H. as results are better for my dry skin. Will never buy Jurlique again. |

The one thing I liked about Jurlique was they had those drops you added to water, and then soaked a cloth or compress in and applied to your skin - the smell alone used to relax me and my dry skin did respond well to that part. I haven't done it for a while, but think I have some of them still so may give that a try tonight after reading this.
They had a wrinkle softener cream which I liked, really suited my skin but then they went crazy with pricing and product redesign and that seemed to vanish, which is a shame.
I got conned into purchasing one of the Dr H products one time, and the person told me that this so called cleanser acted like a vacuum to clear the pores - utter nonsense. Put me off them for a lifetime I can tell you. |
