I have no idea, they are shipping it to Canada though, maybe they only will ship to certain areas? Not sure. I placed my order by phone. |
I'm in Australia so I won't phone them - but I'll email them to find out the situation. Not that I'm ready to purchase at the moment. I'll wait anxiously for your review! |

Can I just add something here about SpaceNK.
I've been shopping at SpaceNK since they opened their first shop in Covent Garden nearly 20 years ago. They used to have talented make-up artists helping you decide what suited you best. They now have sales people who are on a hard sell. They will try to sell you anything.
So I started to use their website to buy things; I liked that every product had buyer feedback sections (like Amazon). However after buying a hair product that was advertised with obvious misinformation, I wrote informative feedback ultimately saying I was disappointed. They never printed it (it still says 'be the first to review this product'). I wrote to SpaceNK questioning if they don't print negative feedback and if this is actually legal, they wrote back asking me to rewrite my review and that they'd investigate. It never appeared and they never bothered contacting me again.
I personally wouldn't trust anything this company sells - it was a great concept but they've sold out. It's all about profit. |

I bought a ReAura yesterday, from SpaceNK, in London. the sales staff were excellent, they did a skin analysis, which is used as part of the registration on the online support portal, where you plan and manage your treatment.
The device has three power settings - I am going to use it on the lowest setting tonight, to get to grips with the treatment protocol.
The device is very well made, it feels like a professional machine.
I tested the machine at SpaceNK, on my forearm, on the power setting 2, my arm get very red, but faded over night to nothing.
The training DVD is excellent, well made, and the demonstration by a ReAura user is essential viewing, as there is a skill in getting good coverage with laser.
I will start with setting 2 on Friday and will report back.

Today, is the real start to my treatment plan, as I used setting one previously, which is just a practice setting on the device.
I have a lot of experience of laser treatments and generally most technical anti-aging devices and protocols, so I wasn't phased by the ReAura.
My skin was very slightly red after my first test on setting one, but it faded in about 30 minutes.
I treated area BC (cheeks) on setting 2 and A (forehead) on setting 3 (highest setting) today.
I didn't experience any pain during the treatment, apart from the slightly prickling feeling.
After the full treatment my face was red and warm.
I cooled it down with some Avene mineral water spray and applied the post treatment.
It is 2 hours since my treatment and my skin is slightly red, but I can go out and I don't thing anyone would notice. I am wearing a 30 SPF sun block for the next 8 weeks to protect the treated areas.
It is too early to comment on the results, but skin has a health glow.
I shaved before the treatment to give me a nice clean smooth area to work on.
The ReAura, gives you a uniformed red glow after treatment, which looks ok, but the PaloVia gives you a uneven finish after a treatment, which looks odd and you have to wait until the redness fades, so I am finding the ReAura easier to cope with any post treatment redness.

I have been shopping at SpaceNK in Nottingham since the shop opened, I bought my Clarisonic there, I have to say the staff have been excellent, supportive, highly trained and I think you might have just been unlucky. I bought my ReAura at the Covent Garden store, they has a specialist on-hand to give me a 40 minute demonstration, including a demo on my own skin. I said I might pop back tomorrow to pick the device up as I was going out with friends and didn't want to carry the device, there was no hard sell, they couldn't have been more helpful.

ReAura, is based on the Fraxel Re:fine treatment, which if you Google it, is the the most gentle Fraxel treatment.

That's been my experience, too, PQ. I love the Nottingham store - and they're so generous and kind with samples! In fact, last time I was there, the SA dissuaded me from buying something that I didn't need. |

After only two treatments I could see the difference in my skin tone, pigmentation and fine lines, all improved and delighted with the results after only a week!
I decided to move up to level 3 for areas AB&C, the pain is very minor, in fact it is just like very light prickling on the skin.
It took me 20 mins to do all three areas.
My skin was red main on areas B&C, but I sprayed the entire face with Avene Thermal Spring Water, which took the heat away from the skin, and just kept applying the spring water, and then overlaid it with the post treatment cream. Within an hour my face was a healthy pink, and I could face my public again
Today, my skin looks amazing, really healthy, fine lines starting to face but mainly it is this radiance that is impressive.

Hi,I've been using the ReAura for four weeks now and have been blogging about my treatments and have even made a U Tube video about it!!!
I'm 41 yrs old and am a bit inexperienced in writing online about things, but, felt that there was not enough information of use to me and my ageing skin concerns about the ReAura,so thought i'd do it myself
If it would be of interest to anyone you can google my user name.......Let me know if i can help with any questions you have,I'd be really pleased to help xx |

Well, looks like I will NOT be able to try the laser after all!!
I am really upset!!
I still had not received my items. I emailed spacenk last week. They finally tracked my items , and I guess they are being shipped back to them as the device is NOT able to be sold overseas.
This would have been nice to know a month ago when I was charged 800 pounds to my cc. They will credit my card back when they physically receive the package back. (how is this my problem, they should be crediting it back as we speak as that is a lot on money!!).
Not impressed at all!! |

Zelda and all,
I am on my 5th week of treatment and the results are really great.
Results:
Pigmentation, small areas under my eye area, gone!
Radiance, my skin is glowing, like a teenager!
Firmness, after each treatment my skin feels firmer and taught.
Fine lines, almost all gone around my eyes, forehead still have a few but working on them.
I am more than delighted.
The biggest top tip is use the Avene Thermal Spring Water, it really helps to cool the face.
Looks like this is being suggested on other people's blogs, so people must be reading our forum!
I will report back at week 8.

Hi Philip,
That sounds really interesting!
How do the results compare to let’s say a series of (professional) led treatments?
Do you think the results are superior?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Jimm
I would say as I have had a lot of Omnilux treatments, over the years, that the ReAura is providing me with the equivalent of Fraxel laser treatment, details of the expected results can be found at http://www.fraxel.com/Patients/fraxelTreatments.cfm
Best wishes

Zelda, it is a lot of money, but it is really well made and the results are dramatic.
The only stockist is SpaceNK.

Zelda, you are more than welcome.
I am sure we are going to see someone like RioBeauty bring out a similar device, we must all keep googling and keep the forums up to date with new devices.

Dear Photoqueen,
I have a few questions for you since you seem to be quite experienced in using various tools and have had good results with the ReAura.
Do you think the ReAura could be used on hands, arms and decolleté?
Could the reduction in fine lines be down to the mild inflammation caused by the laser?
Is laser devices thinning the skin in the long run (read that somewhere) and could it be used in combination with the dermaroller to make skin thicker?

Dear Sidmo,
I have a few questions for you since you seem to be quite experienced in using various tools and have had good results with the ReAura.
Do you think the ReAura could be used on hands, arms and decolleté? - it is designed to be used on both.
Could the reduction in fine lines be down to the mild inflammation caused by the laser? Partly, as all fraxel treatments, you need to wait for the healing process to finish to see the final result, I have another 8 weeks, so will report back.
Is laser devices thinning the skin in the long run (read that somewhere) and could it be used in combination with the dermaroller to make skin thicker? Laser devices only thin the skin if they are ablative, the Reaura is a non-ablative laser, so there is no thinning. The Reaura is is an electronic derma roller so there is no benefit of using the two together, in fact it would be harmful.
