Just goes to show what can happen from participating in an internet chat-room - I'm waiting with baited breath for my invitation to the Oscars! |

I'm glad to see that this thread has reappeared.
Congratulations, sister sweets! Can't wait for your report. I'm sure you'll find the perfect dress(es). We'll be watching for you on E! Relay my hello and miss-you to Toby, please. |

Thanks Kath91. My biggest concern now is finding a gown! It's going to be great to finally hang with Toby after all these years and to meet the Pico folks. Doesn't seem real. |
Do you get to attend the award show too? Even better! |

I wanted to clarify Pico's connection/involvement. This is the formal information I recieved. I know Pico was chosen by select invitation and by request only for the actual celebrity gift event:
The Pico Toner has been asked and requested to be the feature product at the celebrity connected gift event at the Nokia Club in honor of the 2013 Emmys.
Yes, Pico has 20 tickets to the actual event. |

You know we are going to need pics of the gown!!!!
You'll have to think about the best way to pack it for travel too. Maybe it's own suitcase? |

They hung my daughter's wedding dress (in a garment bag) in the first class closet for her. I'm sure if you call and say "Emmy dress" you'll get the same treatment. |

Myrna You are so kind. Honestly I'm doing a carry-on so my 'dress' will be a simple, quietly elegant, slightly slinky, easily packed item. (when I find it ). I don't look good in a lot of fluff anyway so something as in: 'pull out of the suitcase and shake and hang' variety will be fine for me. Simple updo, a little bling... The shoes will be killer
My daughter wants me to get pictures with the 'Duck Dynasty' guys. I didn't even know who they were so she showed me a picture: The ZZ Tops look. That would be a picture I would frame! |

OMG sister sweets how exciting for you and Toby! I couldn't be happier for a better pair.
I know nothing about the Pico but I bet you two will rep it well, not just because you know how to use it, but also because you have seen its effectiveness and truly believe in it and have results to show for it...so how so perfect that you were chosen.
I have a friend who is a seat filler for the Oscars and it seems like fantasy to me coz it is so out of my league and I cannot even fathom how she doesn't explode with excitement just being there. You will be in a similar boat but even more "exposed" because celebs will be coming to you to learn from you. *SHRIEKS* (I think I just panicked on your behalf. I am both excited and anxious and I am not even going. )
I hope you have a blast and that time slows down a bit for you guys so you get to take it all in and create vivid memories of every moment of the experience. Been smiling so hard since I started reading this thread that my cheeks are burning. (This Pico thing must be da bidness if even a thread on it is enough to give the cheeks a workout!) *giggle* |

Hold on... more importantly than the Pico business (which is AMAZING SisterSweets - you will have a BLAST! I'm so very happy/jealous for you! ) what emmy are the Duck Dynasty guys up for? ha ha...
... I too would love to see the Downton cast...even though I'm still mad a Matthew for his demise... there are so many celebs I'd like to just get a close up of!
I can't wait to hear all about it.. It's this Sunday, right?

The gift event is on Saturday and the emmy's are Sunday evening.
I have no idea who is up for what emmy. I don't watch TV except at the gym by accident (Dr. PHil or Dr. Oz preferably) or FN at home... Today I was at the gym and I saw an advertisement for Duck Dynasty - said it was the #1 show on television... I laughed out loud on the stair machine... |

Just a guess, I don't think the Duck Dynasty guys will want to hear about or see a demo of your product! LOL They look like more of the wash-and-shake like a dog kind of guys! |

I wonder if NeurotriS will be allowed to use pictures/video from the Emmys Gift Event and use them on their website for advertising? |

I was looking for a press release announcing that they had been requested to be the feature product, but didn't see one from them or the Emmys.
I would assume they could use pics...I saw ones from the 2012 gift event when I went looking for the 2013 announcement. |

It does seem odd that they haven't promoted their involvement with the Emmys either on Facebook or the website. They promote their participation in all other events. |

There will be press after this weekend with details on the gift bags. And I am sure Sis will post pics to share everything that took place and all the celebs that were impressed...publicity is the only reason companies make such big product donations. |

Have a full day ahead but wanted to check in with snippets of the celebrity gift event.
It was BUSY... crazy in a good way. NeurotriS was the Star product of the event. Our booth was humming with positive energy; classy, up-beat, well-received. 1000+ pictures and video all day long.
I (and others) have to sign confidentiality agreements before anything can be posted. Some fun favorite moments:
As we were walking into the Nokia theater Saturday morning they were laying the 'red carpet'... Cool!
I had my picture taken with Jerry Mathers (The Beaver - )
Penny Marshall of Laverne and Shirley was really cool. She was grooving on the Pico toner as was her publicist.
We did a treatment on Al Joyner (Olympic athlete and winner of the Jim Thorpe award). I bring this up because what a gentle man and a gentleman. Loved his positive vibe.
My favorite celeb was the guy from Tool Time. Richard Cairn and his wife. You could tell he was unaffected by fame and enjoyed life.
The booth had so much going on and people coming through - it was non-stop.
Keep in mind I'm not a TV person (Obviously I only know 'old' TV stars lol) so I was kind of learning as I went along. We had stars in our booth that are up for an Emmy tonight and past winners. NBA stars, NFL stars.... Grammy stars...
There were stars from The Housewives of Beverly Hills there and one of them was gaga over the Pico. Our videographer took footage all day long.
I am thrilled I had the opportunity to take a part of the event, be a part of the NeurotriS team and meet everyone. Patricia is beautiful and Tony is so buff! and a wonderful person - he took great care of all of his team. Best of all for me was meeting Toby... We became instant great friends, like we'd known each other all our life. It was as good as it could possibly be. AND she did a treatment on me with the 3800- Pro machine in our room -which was in Beverly Hills no less. It was after the show and we were both beat - I don't know when I've been so exhausted but she was a trooper and I felt like I was in a spa.
Pretty amazing Day. |

I just looked at their website and the first tile on their home page mentions the Emmy's. |
