I'm still wondering about the "gel" for the Pose. It is so expensive and I've been looking on line and see World Standard, Aquasonic 100 Ultrasound Transmission Gel. Cheap, but it won't list the ingredients. I know the Pose gel has glycerin in it - so does KY Jelly!!!!! Thoughts, other than KY jelly's first ingredient I believe is water where the Pose is the glycerin........... |

Thanks so much PQ you always deliver! I found this website that sells the hive-glycerine and ships to the USA. There maybe some US vendors with this product but I didn't see any on a quick google search.

G-form is a machine with electrodes that stick on your skin and work the muscles. It really can't be compared to the Pose, they do different things. If you have a workout regimen, AND use the G-form while relaxing on the couch afterwards, it feels like you worked out twice as long the next day. I have the mini, was around 300 something dollars. I use the pose for spot treating my trouble areas (thigh fat pockets and waistline). I'm already very thin, but I doubt I'll ever get rid of these areas without help. |

I bought POSE on May 25, and have been using it 3-4 times a week on my butt, waist and stomach. I do think certain areas of fat are more stubborn.
In the spring, I got 15 sessions of R2D2 at a body sculpting clinic for cellulite. I did not have any result! Then I went a medical spa and paid a ridiculous amount to get 3 sessions of "ultrashape" on my butt with little result. Both were RF type devices. So to continue with my results using the Pose...
I took lots of before pictures. I can say there is a subtle difference on my waist and better now on my stomach. It looks as if a small layer of fat has been removed. I am only doing the right side of my waist...just to see a difference.
My butt is another matter. It does have a better silhouette, looks firmer, but the cellulite and the fat look about the same. Measures the same.
I think 2 months is too soon for me to see a shift for my butt. I will keep trying though.
I will post photos when I think there is enough improvement. Its odd that the posters on You tube do not have any photos up! |

I have just purchased a pose. With the pose on a low setting it gets so hot if I hesitate for a minute it would burn my skin. I've contacted the company and they have suggested I return it for another unit. Has anyone else had similiar difficulties? Id also like to ask if anyone found that it helped for cellulite. This is quite an expensive device and I'm not very confident since I have to return this one. |

Thought I would chime in with my experiment - using other oils in place of the rf gel. What I did was use the tri pollar gel on one side and the "test gel" on the other side and timed for both to see how the heating occurred and the light would go on.
What did not work: aloe vera cream, emu oil (took a long time to come to temp); vit. e oil (far too viscous/too much friction; olive oil (took ages to come to temperature and light on), hair gel with aqua as a main ingred(too quick to come to temp. and too hot); scar gel (took too long also).
I'm ordering another 130ml of the tripollar gel.
However I do have a novel way of using the gel. I plan the areas I want to work on and the order. I use the gel on one area, then move it with the scraper to another area, and so on. If I need a bit more gel I will add to the area. It works!
I am at the 4 1/2 month mark of use. The stomach area is looking better, but not my cellulite or my butt. I am keeping at it as consistency "should" pay off. |

The poster who said that the Pose would burn their skin if left in place for a moment- the device is working as it should, the instructions say you must keep it moving. This is definitely the reason, coming from a person that likes to watch TV while using it. I may have given myself a welt or two during a particularly intense movie. |

Hi, what works for me is a combo of glycerin and bee wax ( Cera Alba) these are the first ingredients in the gel. I like using it not only for the cost but I don't care for the scent in the regular gel. |

Hello All, I'm new here and have been reading about the tripollar Stop and Pose. From what I understand the Pose is stronger than Stop, yet neither are as strong as a salon RF treatment. If that is correct, why not buy the Pose and use it less frequently on the face? Thoughts?
Thanks for the input.

It is interesting that my results are better than the salon's. I think it has to do with "critical mass" in that I'm pretty consistent in my use. I have been at it now for about 4 months, 2 to 4 times a week. I am seeing a difference in my right waist - there is less fat when I bend sideways compared to the left. I guess its time to do the left side now! I can't find a way to post a pic.
BTW my cellulite has not changed much but my silhouette has slimmed down. My measurements are not much changed, either!!! |

I bought the pose and stop a few weeks ago. I started using the pose and had 5 treatments, I have amazing results with the stretch marks they are almost entirely gone! But there is no improvement with my cellulite or the fat around my hips and butt. Do you think I'm doing something wrong? I always use the highest power and every treatment takes about an hour and a half for both legs (upper leg, hips and butt). |

After RF, if you want to reduce cellulite, it is advisable to help the lymphatic system to drain the fat from the body, some ideas area at:

Has anyone tried a salon RF treatment and then the POSE? Are they comparable? I have a STOP and I never really noticed any change to my face - I haven't used it in a while. My tummy has overstretched skin and I wondered if a salon RF treatment just to do it and get it done would be better? Or if the Reaura could be used on a tummy? (then I might be able to justify buying the Reaura!) Thank you for your help |

I actually do see improvement in cellulite after checking out my before&after photos. Now after the 6th treatment I can say that my cellulite improved, moreover the stretch marks have reduced substantially!
As of now I see no results with my measures, but now I plan to start working out more and changing my nutrition. If anyone have more tips to help improve results I'll be happy to hear!
Also I'm willing to provide some of mt B&A photos.

Hi,
I just wanted to update that I found a substitute for the preparation gel. I use an ultrasound gel combined with Glycerin oil (Herbal origin). I'm trying to integrate Cera Alba, however I did not succeed as it is hardens when I am mixing it with the formula. For now the ultrasound gel with glycerin is working good. |

I ended up buying the tripollar gel after my first tube ran out. I was disappointed to see the gel a wholly different gummy texture than what I first had used. When I wrote the company they said perhaps the gel had changed due to temperatures in storage or transport. Not very helpful. What did help was the addition of pure glycerin to make it a softer, more easy to apply gel. Plus, the volume pretty much doubled.
I am pretty happy with my results, the contour is much smoother and uplifted but the cellulite has not changed a whole lot. I did have 3 treatments of ultrashape salon rf treatments (yikes, at $3k+)and I did not notice much with that. Consistent use of the pose is better, at least for my results. |

I did a few treatments to try and fight the cellulite. I did a session of 18 treatments in Bella Contour and about 20 treatments of LPG. Bella contour helped reduced my measures at about 4 cm around my thighs, however the cellulite had a slight improvement. LPG improved my cellulite dramatically. After a few months that I stopped doing the treatments everything came back. That's why I thought I should buy a home use device that will help me maintain the results because of the very high prices of these treatments.
Lately my cellulite results are improving but very slowly as I started working our regularly, I'm not sure it is because of the device..
My stretch marks are almost gone, and that is definitely because of the device. |

Hi,
I realize this topic is old and I apologize for bringing it back up to the top of the forums.
I'm interested in the fat reduction aspects of the Pose/Stop. I want to ask those(only females please) who currently use either of the two product a few questions with regards to their fat reduction experience.
Any answers or feedback to the below questions would be highly valued and deeply appreciated.
1) Females only please: Other than your thighs, back of the arms, and bum areas. How many of you have experienced noticeable fat reduction in other locations of your body?
That is excluding the lower body and back of the arms how many of you have seen a noticeable difference of quantity/size and RATE(change of speed) of fat reduction in other of these areas or locations on your body using STOP/POSE?
Again this is for any area other than the lower body(below the waist) or back of the arms(tricep region).
If you have noticed a rate in reduction in other locations would you please state the location where it occurred, the time frame or period in which the product was used on this specific location, and if possible(optional) an age range for yourself.
I realize this is a weird question to ask with regards to specific location, rate of change, and age but feedback on these questions from anyone who owns this product would be incredibly helpful.
Thank you for your time. |

The Stop device is not designed to cause fat reduction but to increase collagen production. The temperature of the unit isn't high enough for fat reduction. I have use the Stop on my face and neck for three years and haven't had any fat reduction and there is not suppose to be.
The Pose is designed to heat at a higher level and is designed for the parts of the body that you aren't asking about. It works well if used often for thighs for cellulite but again you aren't asking about that. |

Toby, I totally agree, this device will not help this particular EDS contributor.

The manufacturer states that it (pose) shrinks stubborn fat deposits.
To answer your question regarding non-thigh or butt areas, I have seen reduction of fat on my right waist. I was doing one side only as a test. Approximately 2-3 weekly, it took about 5 months to see a layer of fat dissolve, but it seems permnanent. I'm now doing the left side! For me, this machine works but so slowly. It will be a year this May that I've used it. I have had expensive and rather painful RF at the Salon for $$$ and did not see any change in my body composition in the 9 week period I was told to expect results. |
