That is a shame about the ebay seller. I used her all the time for ISC when I was using it, and I did get my 2 Youth samples from her also. |

She may still keep the items stocked(assuming she has a real life business)and just not list them on ebay. I'd email her and ask. |

IS Clinical might work for some, not for me, and IMO their company isn't very well run. I have called and emailed on numerous occasions wanting to know a bit more about their serums and certain skin-conditions and NO ONE EVER returned ANY of my calls or mails! So I went ahead and used the Hydra Cool instead of a B5 product and now my skin is totally messed up!!! In item descr. it says " relief for dry, damaged skin and good for post procedural healing"!(completeskincare.net) I'm thinking this sounds great. An antioxidant product that protects and heals skindamage. Right. I now have to go once a month to a derm. and have serious IPL sessions to treat broken capillaries, redness, discoloration and sensitivity.(yes, i used sunscreen over serum...)
I think most of their products are really harsh and not much better than lets say Cellex-C or Skinceuticals. Active Serum might be "active" but One could probably get the same result doing a "Vitalize Peel" every six weeks. About the same money... |
I think it's true that IS Clinical products work for some and not for others, but I have to disagree with your overall assessment.
First, they technically don't allow their products to be sold without a "professional consultation." If you read their precise, they make clear that questions about their products, choice and method of application, etc. can be answered by authorized ISC dealers. They aren't set up to answer individual questions.
I also know that I, for one, could not have achieved the results I've gotten with Skinceuticals or Cellex C. Been there, done that .
But, I just have got to say it: your contention that the use of HydraCool wrecked your skin to such a degree that you now require monthly IPL sessions stretch the bounds of credibility. HydraCool is primarily hyaluronic acid. Sorry, but there is no way it would do that.
You say you tried to speak to someone at ISC about which product to use. Why didn't you just do what they advise in their precise and consult with whoever you purchased the products from. If you did, perhaps you should take your complaints up with them. |

Dear Katee, as you well know, the hydra cool has kojic acid in it. I have had "consultations" at skinterra.com, kalologie.com and my spa, Belle Visage. Spa rec. the Active Serum??!!! The other two told me to use Pro Heal and Hydra Cool. Both made my cheeks tomato red and itchy. I had to purchase Tri Ceram Barrier Repair. And now I need IPL's.
Just because You, Katee, have had a great time with iS Clinical and I havn't, doesn't mean that my bad experience/s is out of context or untrue. I am merely stating my opinion about this brand. Just like you, Katee, like to do. Alot..
Too many members on this forum take it VERY personal when something negative is being said about "their" brand. Its a bit sad but mostly entertaining. I will be perfectaly happy going back to Cellex-C and Skinceuticals. Maybe Benev's B5. 'Cause quite honestly, I have "been there" and "done that" with iS Clinical. |

Uhhhh vzeider I think I said rather clearly at the beginning of my post that I understand that not all products work for everyone. Believe me, I have NO PROBLEM with it if somebody absolutely hates a product that I adore.
You absolutely have a right to your opinion.
But, even if the products were a disaster for you and, as you said, made your cheeks tomato red and itchy, one would presume that once you stopped using the offending product, that the bad reaction would subside. I've never heard of treating a bad reaction to actives with IPL.
I just can't wrap my brain around it.
(I was dying to use my "beating a dead horse" emoticon.....lol) |

Just wondering how one can purchase a sample size of the Active Serum? I tried contacting both IS Clinical and EDS. ISC doesn't send out the small size, and EDS only sends out samples if you purchase something else. Just wondering if there is another way to try a product out before purchase, to make sure your skin likes it? Thank you! |
I bought a single vial from a ebay seller for about $8us but last time i bought something of her 2 weeks ago all her IS Clinical stuff was gone. I can check and see if she has it back in.
Ok just checked, it was this seller
http://stores.ebay.com.au/Advanced-SkinCare-LLC_W0QQssPageNameZstrkQ3amefsQ3amesstQQtZkm
but she dosent seem to stock it anymore. |
I had checked ebay after the suggestion was made last month, and didn't find any Active Serum available. Someone did have a few other ISC items, though, but not that one. I guess that is why it isn't available anymore. I sure wish there were a place to get it cheaper. It's just so hard to spend $120 and not know if it will help. |

Katee, sometimes people with seriously sensitive skin( i didn't know how sensitive until now!) have very bad reactions to even the simplest of products. Hydra Cool gave me a VERY bad reaction and instead of going the cortisone route I chose to do IPL. When One gets broken capillaries on cheekbones like that, it is usually due to an inflammation from Topical Dermatitis and IPL will take care of that. Very pricey though..I DO however LOVE iS Clinicals Moisturizing Sunscreen. So with this, I wish to end this discussion and I bid You a happy future with iSC and myself with ....something else... |

What is the difference in terms of typical results between the active and super serum? Should I expect the same results or do they each affect different skin issues? I have samples of both and the hydracool and I am just trying to figure out if both are working or if only one is. Thanks! |

I get very different results from each. The Super gives my skin a glow, more for mature skin it seems, and the Active seems to tighten my pores and even my skin tone. I can always tell a difference in my skin when I am not using them every day. I think the Active is a little more of a dramatic difference of the two for me. |

The Active Serum is an exfoliating serum. It keeps your skin "new," firm, clear, and, in my case, almost free of visible pores.
The Super Serum plays a different role. The ingredients of the serum are rich in Vitamin C and other anti-oxidants and nutrients. It has evened out my skin tone and, like Annie, provided that Vitamin C glow. Using Candy's Triple C on top of it has served to magnify those effects several times over. |

Oh ok, good to know so that I can be on the lookout. I think so far, they are both doing their respective job. Thanks again! |

I still have a whole new bottle of Super Serum that I ordered a few months ago. I don't know why I get breakout from Super Serum. I have switched to Skinceutical's CEF for some time. I sure would like to go back to use Super Serum, so it is not wasted. Any recommendations anyone? |

I noticed that a few of you were using a retinol over their Active serum. I just purchased the super, active and hydracool but want to still keep my Eulage cream in my p.m. routine. Would the order go
Active
Eulage
Hydracool
moisturizer??
Also, are people using the Active on their neck? I have no neck break outs, and am afraid It might make it too dry, thus more wrinkled??
And one more question, would it be advantageous or overkill to use my Skinmedica C Complex over the super serum in the a.m.?
Thanks so much, real excited to get started and see what happens. |

I use Active smoothed over my face and down to my neck and chest, depends on how much is left over.
Even though I use hydracool at night over the Active, I still follow up with a cream for extra hydration.
I also use Candy's triple C serum and firming serum after my Super Serum, but before my Hydracool.
The idea I believe, is to layer the heaviest serum/creams over the lightest. Or so I do and it works well for me. |

Hey no problem. You'd think since I'd been here a while I'd know better. Try some samples of the proheal and I think you will love it. I think IS Clinical has some great serums. If you have any questions, you can always pm me. |

In my last order (not from EDS) I got a generous sample of the Active serum. I have tried it 3 times so far and HATE it!
It leaves a sticky feeling and even looks sticky, skin looks shiny and pores look bigger than they are. I haven't noticed that it caused any breakout or anything and it might do something good for the skin but I hate how it looks and feels.
At least I'm spared the huge expense and disappointment and I'm not sure any of their serums are good for oily skin. I was looking forward to trying the super serum and the C 15 serum |

Ilbiance-I had oily skin but I found that it is a lot more regulated now thru the use of the IS serums, mainly due to Proheal and Active. Shame on the Active, I never had that sticky feeling. But I can only use mine every other night or now my skin gets too dry. |
