PQ, I am about to start doing this. How do you cycle them? Pico first then Tria??
cheers Rebecca |
Yes, Pico and then Tria, and I am looking at of the impact of using P2 to promote collagen production post Tria.
Good luck.

Philip - that is exactly what I did last night. Used Tria and then P2 on the Pico. Makes sense to me.
This morning I did the P1 before work. I'm getting addicted. |

Does anyone use the Tria in conjunction with the Reaura or is that just TOO much? PQ, I'd love to know your thoughts on this. I'm also on back order for a Pico, is it possible to layer all these gadgets? |

Hi Anne,
PQ has a list of how to layer all of the devices... I believe it's on his blog. I am pretty sure it would be way too much for your skin to use the Reaura with the Tria...My face is red after using the Tria on Level 3. OUCH! I use the Tria in the evening and the Pico in the morning on P1. I want to try the Pico on P2 after the Tria treatment at night and see how that goes... I hope PQ gives us an update on how that's going for him. Best, Aprile |

Hi anne, you dont need two laser products. Tria and reaura are doing the same kind of job.
You can use pico, which is microcurrent, alongside either reaura or tria laser.
Best thing is to be clear about what all these gadgets actually do, so that you dont overdo things in one area!
Have a good read around the forum, and after a while it will all start to fall into place! |

I haven't been able to find PQ's comments on his blog as to treatment layering. Could someone please provide them for me? Thanks |

Too much laser - only 1 device, either would be fine, you have to give your body time to regenerate, so layering ReAura with Tria would be far too much.

Thanks everyone for your answers to my question. Glad I checked in before ordering another device! Made that mistake before. I was using the Nuface Trinity and thought I would save time with two so got my husband to get me one for my birthday (wrong!). I hadn't even got it out of the box but I emailed a question regarding charging the device to Nuface and mentioned that I planned to use two to cut down the time, but I was told that one side would cancel out the other. Expensive mistake! Now I just need to find out how to use EBay to dispose of all of my expensive mistakes. Thanks again everyone. Anne |

I'm into five weeks of tria on level 3 and am finding it less ouchy. Make no mistake - it's not 'pleasant' but seems to be more tolerable and I am keeping the window clean. Guess I'm getting used to the pain. Is this how it has been for others? |

Sis - has it really been five weeks already? I started around the same time as you...albeit missing a few days ... times flies! Well I am finding it very uncomfortable and burning on my skin and I can barely tolerate level 3. I much prefer level 2! I also find my skin looks very dry as a result. I am hoping to get some new hydrating products and see a change in that. |

I've just finished my 3rd round of treatments. This last round, I was able to tolerate the pain of level 3 but my skin was soooo red, I felt embarrassed at work....so I just did level 3 on weekends. So I can see how my skin is getting used to the laser. Before, I wouldn't even think of doing level 3 as the pain was really bad and I was tomato-red. So, after my rest period,I'm going to attempt level 3 for all the treatments. |

US launch:
I have just found out that the laser is still going through the FDA clearance process, and this can take some time. The laser cannot be launched in the US until it has this approval.

Shamus,
Please let us know your results after round 3.
I know you will need a while yet.
I am thinking that when you look in the mirror you will not recognize the young woman looking at you.

No, Maria, I'm far off from that "mirror-looking",I tell 'ya! But, at 60, I'm most pleased so far with the results. I'm resting my face but have started doing my neck. It's funny, but my neck can tolerate level 3 easily...the face...not so much!
Blessings, Maria |

So Shamus are you saying that for the first two rounds you used level 2? I too find level 3 rather uncomfortable, but worst of all it's super dehydrating. I sometimes skip days when I use Level 3, so the other night I went back to level 2. I just ordered some new products to help with that. Hope everyone is enjoying the Tria...no results to report yet. Skin looks a little brighter, but that's all for the moment, but I'm not finished with the 8 weeks yet. I hope to see something after that and the rest period. Best, Aprile |

I'm with Aprile - I am seeing a little surface smoothing and consequently some brightening- My skin seems redder or has more color - probably from irritation
Question for the Tria users who have PMD... Have you used both during the 8 week time frame?
I recall seeing this as an okay device for layering in PQ's list. |

Yes, Aprile...I did my first 2 rounds of treatments only on level 2. My 3rd round of treatments, I'd say I did 90% on level 2. My skin did get sandpapery dry but I found that using a really rough facecloth or my clarisonic helped with that, though it was never eliminated until towards the end of the treatments and then the rest period. I'm doing my neck totally on level 3 and seems funny, but there's no sandpaper-dryness.
But even on level 2, the age spots on my face totally disappeared. And the non-smoker's lines have really reduced. Now, they are quite deep so I'm expecting I shall have to keep at it but no topical treatment has ever lessened them to this degree and so quickly. I'm hoping I can bump it up to level 3 all of the next round (round 4) of treatments but it just depends on how red I get. My skin has actually adapted to the pain which I'm surprised at 'cause before, I just couldn't take the pain at all (what a whimp, eh!?)
blessings all |

Oh that's so encouraging to hear Shamus!!! Thank you so much for posting your experience. I want to get rid of those dreaded lip lines too. Not that I was a smoker, but they are there none the less! I have a few sun spots that I'd like to eradicate as well. So that's all music to my ears! I just purchased a hydration mist from Intelligent Skinsense and used it for the first time this morning. I really like it! In between treatments, like 3x a week I use NCN's exfoliating product...the one that's like the Cure. That helps get off the dead skin cells. Jeez so much exfoliation....so little time! Best, Aprile |

I've never smoked at all but those dreaded lip lines....let's just say, that when I'm at work and I look in the mirror.....I used to cringe 'cause it was that "show absolutely everything and this is what you REALLY look like" lighting....but now, there's so much improvement, I don't cringe (ok...not as MUCH)
and I found that my age spots went away on the first round of treatments. They got really really dark and then, just sort of disintegrated. So, now my skin is completely clear. Isn't it wonderful to have this machine....and isn't it also wonderful that we can all share and care! I always say...the world is full of good people and angels....they just don't make the headlines!
blessings Aprile! |
