I have been using Jan Marini C-esta for about 5 days now. I apply cream after the eye repair concentrate and the face serum but my skin is getting dry and a bit flaky. Any suggestions? I apply twice a day and do have skin that tends to be dry. By the way, I am not sure if I am imagininy things but the dark circles under my eyes are all but gone and some fine lines appear finer. I don't want to stop using the products!! Help!! |

No wonder your skin is experiencing dryness, irratation & dehydration! You're only supposed to use products containing Vitamin-C once a day. `Sounds like you're getting too much of a good thing! It is recommended that you use these in the day, to benefit from the antioxidant-protectionp properties that these products have. Use something nourishing in the evening instead.
C-products can be quite dehydrating, and it is advised to wear a hydrating serum over-top of your c-serum. Both Cellex-C and Skinceuticals make Hydrating B-5 gels. These are to be applied after your serum, before your moisturizer in the a.m. In the evening, this goes under your moisturizer (no C-serums though!) You also may want to consider using a calming or hydrating masque. Phytomer's Accept masque is great! |

Thank you. I will look into the gels and cream. I will also cut back to once a day!! A lot of the directions said twice a day but I am not sure my skin can handle it!! Have you used these products? What were the results for you? Thanks again for your advice! |

No, I personally haven't used the c-serums, as the condition of my skin is not showing any damage or aging yet .... I'm 28, so I ought to start soon!
However, these are some of the best antioxidant/antiaging/repairative products out there. We have many clients who swear by them.
P.S. I'm not really a "mom" yet. Casper is my cat;) |
