I believe that I have just found two, new favorite products for myself! Both of these are from NYC-based apothecary Malin & Goetz. This is a relatively new line, but trendsetters are catching-on to it's simplicity, no-fuss, unisex line.
At 31, I have combination skin with occasional breakouts in the chin-area (hormonal & PHONE related!). I am very picky about my cleanser & moisturizer. Some cleansers are too dehydrating, do not effective cleanse my skin, or I don't like their scent. Moisturizer: I like something REALLY basic, lightweight, silky. At my age, I am just starting to use preventative measures, and I apply vit. C under my moisturizer during the day. Less fuss, no muss. That's me.
Therefore, I am in-love with the following Malin & Goetz products: grapefruit face cleanser, and vitamin e face moisturizer. The cleanser was refreshing, left my face feeling extremely smooth, clean, and refreshed! I applied the moisturizer afterwards, and it sunk right into my skin. Smooooooth! This morning, it is still smoooooooth!
Keep your eyes peeled for Malin and Goetz products to be appearing at EDS in the very near future! In the meantime, I wanted to share their cute advertisement with you:

Thanks for the reveiw Caspers Mum!
I am looking for a new cleanser.....and was wondering if the grapefruit face cleanser would work for me. I have extremly dry skin but still prone to break out on chin and around my nose. Do you think this cleanser would be ok for my dry skin?
TIA! |

If your skin is extremely dry, I would still stick to a creamy cleanser. The grapefruit extract in this is balancing for n-dry skin, but an extremely dry skin requires a nourishing cleanser. |
